Iceland is truly one of the most astonishing and unique places of this planet. Fire, ice and gushers engrave the scenery and the force of the elements is present all over the island. The biggest volcanic island of the world attracts many tourists throughout the year. The only international airport of Iceland is Keflavik Airport, 50 km to the southwest of the capital Reykjavik.
This airport is of great importance as it also functions as a military airfield. The modern architecture of the civil terminal is a true eye-catcher. Our airport model has been created true to the original and is an ideal add-on for our scenery Iceland X.

First off if you have any interest in Iceland then this should be high on your wishlist along with Iceland X. As is by default FSX Iceland is awful. Just a barren lifeless island that never stood out. I consider this an injustice to one of the most interesting and beautiful places on earth. That said this airport add on does finally bring some detail and life to the sim world. The airport isn’t exactly a marvel here, nor in the real world (based on viewed videos and pictures) but it is an excellent representation of the real thing.
Depending on your settings the airport can become a busy place. Mine are pretty high so I’m seeing a lot of things at the airport in nice detail. It looks great at night too!
You can’t fully enjoy it or Iceland with just Keflavik X. You really get the best Iceland experience by having both this and the Iceland X to fully open up this amazing island and all it has to explore and view.
Nice little airport with the expected good Aerosoft craftsmanship. Works fine, lots of static cars and buses to give it a bit of life. Framerate friendly.
No dynamic traffic, and also no 'see through' effects, only 2d glass textures. Considering it's a fairly new release I would have appreciated those features for extra reality.
But overall a solid effort, surely worth the price, and well recommended if Iceland is your game.
Advising to take the deal with the Iceland package, otherwise this airport just sits there in the middle of dull FSX landscape. The extra bucks are well spent, since that package will truly take Iceland to a whole new level of reality.
