Rotterdam The Hague airport (also known as Zestienhoven) is the third Dutch airport in passenger numbers and functions as a major regional airport. Though it has limited scheduled flights there is a lot of General Aviation, business traffic and several flying schools are based there. During the vacation seasons it also handles a lot of charter traffic.

This scenery has been done with great attention to detail according to the most up to date ideas on making scenery for FSX. It is very good looking but it is also frame rate friendly. As default FSX is not brilliant in this region a large area is included around the airport so the circuits and VFR approaches are possible with great realism.

Nice that they've put some interest on the smaller airports of Europe. Details are good. Frame Rate is excellent. I have custom AI traffic and have no issues at all. But be Warned!!!!! It says that system requirements P3D! This is only up to V3. I have V4.3. It does work but I have 1 or 2 system crashes from time to time when flying to Rotterdam. If Aerosoft could up date the last remaining airports (Dublin/Svalbard etc) to V4 that'd be great. Simmarket, please state if a product is V3 or V4. I know you do for some products, but not all.

Nice airport from Aerosoft, with very good framerates. It is perhaps a bit understated because it is not a big busy airport. Fairly large area around the airport is modelled, showing canals etc and ILS approach from both sides of runway is now possible. However, in order to achieve the better frame rates, this add-on removes all of the default (or ORBX) harbour cranes, storage tanks, ships and crates, which to me is a major feature of Rotterdam which i want to see. At least give us the option to leave it in Aerosoft!

Rotterdam-X is allright and okay! Well done. Everything works as it should be. It is a No Nonsens Airport to look at. But everything is bloody sharp and good atmosphere! And no Shimmering! Or other problems at all. Rotterdam surely is in my collection now! From Richard. Netherlands.

[FSX, VFR test only, IFR not tested] Smaller airport that in my opinion is a bit dry & dull, yet functional. No parking at the terminal = no jetways. It is very well implemented and I like the fact that textures stretch way beyond the airport. Lots of detail, many small custom buildings both in and outside the airport. No moving airport traffic makes the scenery a bit static. Still a nice VFR airport to fly into with lots to look at. Keeps what it promises, and is definitely a bargain at the price. Use it together with NL2000V4 Photoscenery and it will make this part of the Netherlands come alive.
