Sim-wings’ Ibiza V2 adds a detailed replica of the international Ibiza Airport (LEIB, IBZ) to the Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Fly to the famous party island and look forward to detailed models of the airport terminals, buildings and other airport facilities. A custom aerial image covering the airport area and the close surroundings has been used for modelling. It smoothly blends into the default aerial terrain.
The accuracy of the exact positioning of the taxiways, the apron and the parking areas as well as a profile of the runway, converted according to official flight charts, ensure a realistic simulation experience.
Moreover, custom animated jetway models and a realistic night time dynamic lightning brings the airport to life. Custom taxiway signage provides the final touch.
Installation runs via Aerosoft One, this requires an internet connection and an Aerosoft user account!

Reviewing V2 of Ibiza here, which is a fantastic airport scenery.
It's an incredible value for money, since you get it all:
- VDGS included. They use Aerosoft's VDGS which is superb.
- Accurate runway elevation profile. Very important for any airport scenery. Many other developers do approximations only, or they don't bother at all and you'll get crazy up- and down slopes all over the place. This is a proper elevation profile, it's spot on.
- A signature feature by Sim-Wings: Accurate and complete ground markings. An often overlooked feature that I always enjoy in their sceneries. They are the masters in this area.
- Great modelling detail, a superb increase compared to V1. No more flat fire vehicles.
- Overall very high levels of accuracy, they've captured the feeling of being there quite well.
You can't go wrong with this release. V1 was a very early port of the P3D version when MSFS was still new. V2 is now properly modelled and textured, and therefore comes highly recommended and is better than competing offerings.
Absolut sein Geld wert! Der Flughafen ist sehr detailliert und auf dem neuesten Stand. Sieht sehr gut aus und ist absolut rahmenfreundlich.
!!!VOLLE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG!!!
I love the way the scenery looks. But I don't know what happens that I have suffered 3 CTD today. The first two right at the same point of the approach, and the last one with the plane parked in the terminal. I have a pretty decent computer (i7 10th generation, with 32 GB RAM and a NVIDIA 2070). I have never had this kind of problems with other scenery and airport addons. I really hope they optimize it more.
Pretty good airport. Good textures. Jetways are nice, no interior modeling that I believe but that’s minor. Front of airport isn’t highly detailed but fine. Overall great destination airport.
Beautiful scenery, wonderful to look at, BUT the FPS hit is simply too much ... even with turning down most of the settings that have no problem with other, much more complex 3rd party airports, make no difference.
Maybe as the SDK develops for FS2020 it will be possible to optimise the airport more because the same scenery from same dev is a joy to fly in P3D.
