Ancona Falconara Airport (LIPY), officially known as Marche Airport, serves as the main gateway to central-eastern Italy along the scenic Adriatic coast. It connects the region with key European destinations while hosting a busy mix of airline flights, cargo movements, and general aviation.

Created using 3D airport structures by Lucio Barelli, this release brings the airfield into X-Plane 12 with a complete environment overhaul. The scenery features custom ground textures, extensive environmental modeling, and tailored detailing built specifically for X-Plane.

The entire airport layout and surrounding area have been crafted with high attention to realism. Key additions include custom terrain sculpting for the adjacent railway line, realistic road and apron traffic, rich 3D foliage, and hand-placed clutter throughout the airfield.

Features structural modeling by Lucio Barelli covering the main terminal, hangars, and almost all surrounding landside buildings.

Custom Railway & Terrain Details

Includes hand-crafted terrain work incorporating the adjacent train lines and surrounding landscape contours without requiring custom mesh plugins.

Animated service vehicles around the apron powered by Living Scenery Technology (LST), plus moving traffic on surrounding airport roads.

Rich 3D Vegetation & Clutter

Dense placement of 3D trees and realistic foliage around the airport boundary, along with detailed ground equipment across the ramps.

Realistic Ground Surfaces

High-detail ground textures showing realistic concrete wear, runway tire rubber marks, and authentic weathering across aprons and taxiways.

Full X-Plane 12 Environment Support

Designed for X-Plane 12's atmospheric effects, featuring realistic night lighting, dynamic rain puddle reflections, and smooth performance.
