If you're flying the best GA piston twin out there - The RealAir Simulations Duke B60 V2 then although the aircraft is as good as it can get, I expect you agree with me that the soundset that comes with it is adequate at best. Well those days are over. For a very small investment you can get your hands on a soundset that makes your flying experience really soar - just like the aircraft! Arezone have produced probably the most realistic twin piston sound I've heard. Recorded from a real aircraft with a slight amount of digital enhancement this collection of .wav files are awesome. Unfortunately I can't give it five stars because it's not perfect. The one fly in the ointment is that when accelerating down the runway for takeoff with the roar of the engines - in stereo, pounding your ears, all of a sudden it's as if your cruising at 10,000ft. Don't get me wrong here. The sound is great but it does come as surprise to hear such a change in engine note when you should really be having your eardrums blasted for a minute or so and it can even happen when taxying! It's not a deal breaker though because it's such a short part of any flight in this aircraft and the overall experience is just so good. Buy the set. You won't be disappointed and for the price, you can't go wrong.
