Description
Gimpo International (ICAO: RKSS, IATA: GMP) is the airport of Seoul, the capital of South Korea. It has two runways (14L / 32R and 14R / 32L) and is closer to the city center than the newer Incheon Airport.
Many K-pop stars, like Blackpink or BTS, departure from Gimpo when they start their tours in Asia. That's why this airport in Asia is well known.
Animations like opening hangar doors, radar-antenna, weather stations, air condition fans are part of the airport. International flights to and from Gimpo are operated by Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Korea Express Air, Shanghai Airlines and Jeju Air. Nationally, Eastar Jet, Air Busan and Jin Air fly to Gimpo.
