Gimpo International (ICAO: RKSS, IATA: GMP) is the airport of Seoul, the capital of South Korea. It has two runways (14L / 32R and 14R / 32L) and is closer to the city center than the newer Incheon Airport.

Update 2024 includes Interior inside International Terminal. Animated Timetables inside change with simulator time. Also all Departure information signs at the Gates. Seats, Airline Lounges and Departure hall are now added to the this terminal. Frame Rates are very high, but if needed it is possible to switch to the older terminal version.

SGBAC Building has now also a departure lounge with full interior. Rooms for Crew also added. The quality of ground markings and width of main taxiwaylines have been improved and adapted to reality.

Update 2023 includes the new observation deck (National Terminal), Parking Garage (International Terminal), the new National Aviation Museum of Korea, Embraer Lineage 1000 (Air Hamburg D-ANNI), which was rent by Blackpink during their world tour Born Pink, Helicopters (Police and Korea Forest) as static objects and many new models and textures. PBR textures also improved. With a configurator objects and animations can be disabled.

Many K-pop stars, like Girls Generation or T-Ara, departure from Gimpo when they start their tours in Asia. That's why this airport in Asia is well known.
International flights to and from Gimpo are operated by Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Korea Express Air, Shanghai Airlines and Jeju Air. Nationally, Eastar Jet, Air Busan and Jin Air fly to Gimpo.
Windsocks are animated in P3D and FSX. They showing wind direction and strength. A docking guidance system is not included, but a file for GSX users with presets included. All jetways are animated with SODE. Likewise, the approach lights, which are automatically activated in rain, snow and poor visibility.
Radar antennas, runway guarding lights and occasional ground vehicles are animated too.

This is clearly a rebuild of the FS9/FSX build which was scarce at best but functional nonetheless. By comparison this build runs circles around the freeware and performs well in P3dv5. What I'd like to see is a P3d version of RKSI in the same quality of the Overland build for fs9/fsx. Good job in this build.

First purchase from this Developer; do not regret it. P3Dv5.3 PMDG 747 Full MAX out all Options incl. Real Traffic - zero impact on FPS (but I have a powerful graphic card) - detailled enough - many static vehicles etc - all areas are developed (remote areas too) - great textures of Apron, TXWY, Runway Now for what I would wish for all Developers to consider: - perhaps the RWY in the Touchdown zone more "tire rub" - esp. the Cargo Apron more "dirt" on the apron parking - Plane Spotters The RKSS scenery is really good though and I do not regret my purchase. I hope this Developer is workign on Incheon and also please consider us "Freighter Pilots".

A nice airport. No impact on performance, having also a scenery for the nearby RKSI. Installation is all automated and easy. SODE works. Quality is good but more details, especially for ground textures, would been appreciated.

It is a beautiful airport with zero impact to the performance that I noticed. Texture quality is much better than I expected. My only complaint to the developer is that please update the screenshots. They don't do justice to how beautiful the scenery actually is. The scenery looks much nicer in P3Dv5.2 than it does in your screenshots. I actually contemplated on it for the longest time because the screenshots don't look convincing. It's a must-have to pair with Jeju Intl since Gimpo-Jeju is the world's busiest route in terms of passenger numbers.

Great Airport! I would be interested in a Daegu and Gimhae Busan by this dev.

Scenery itself is okay, not too detailed but it performs very well. Concluding, this scenery is for everyone who wants an airport that is rather bland and not anywhere near Flytampa niveau but way better than any other payware RKSS.
