Lien Khuong Airport was built by French settlers in 1933 with a dirt runway 700 meters long. From 1956 to 1960, the US military rebuilt and modernized Lien Khuong Airport with rather complete facilities. The infrastructure is not quite complete, the terminal was designed in French architecture, with three floors. The terminal had a capacity of 50,000 passengers per year, or about 120 passengers / peak hour. (Wikipedia)
