DESCRIPTION

English: Ancona International Airport-formerly, Ancona Falconara Airport (IATA: AOI, ICAO: LIPY)
is an Italian airport located 18 km from the city center of Ancona, in Castelferretti, in the municipality of Falconara Marittima.
It takes its name from the famous painter Raffaello Sanzio.

- Passenger traffic, air carriers and international charters:
Albawings, Lufthansa, Ryanair, Tayaranjet, Volotea, Vueling, Wizz Air, DHL Aviation, Star Air.

The facility is equipped with a 2,965 x 45 m runway and a 52,780 m² parking area with 14 remote aircraft stands.
The terminal consists of two passenger buildings, each of 6300 m², and a freight terminal with a storage area of 1800 m².
The Ancona Aeroclub operates within the airport area with a refueling service and FTO flight school.
