I was a little put off initially by the difficulty of the flight model of this aircraft. Once I did research on the real bird it's justified. The P40B was the second rendition of the P40 and struggled to get going in the real world. The P40B was relegated to trainer status because of the problems. The P40 really didn't come into its own until the 'F' variant was released. The Flying Tigers actually flew the next version up from the 'B' variant. So, this bird is realistic in the difficulty and skill took to fly it. Hat's off to Big Radials in staying true to what they were depicting here.

Amazing job. In the same league as the MF Corsair and fI Spitfire. Works and looks awesome in VR.

You can tell a lot of passion went into developing this plane, if you love some cross country flying using an old warplane you can't go wrong. Sure you may already have the Spitfire and/or Corsair and if you love those you will equally enjoy this one. I own all three and I fly them around different parts of the world respectively. Has some excellent sounds, great animations, the gear movement is very nice, great lighting particularly at night and its flight model is satisfying once mastered. It's a shame this one has been a bit overlooked among the recent releases of warbirds but it's your loss if you don't add this one to your hangar, it's unique in its own right and well worth it picking up, I can't see anyone being disappointed by this. This is a dev worth supporting, the talent is certainly there and looking forward to seeing what they have coming next!

Superb warbird for MSFS with loads of character. The flight model has lots of nuance to it - torque effects, re-trimming and various other details all seem well modelled and believable for a fighter designed in the 1930s. Anyone can fly it, but flying it well is quite a challenge and gives a real feeling of satisfaction. It also looks great, is easy on frame rate and the interior sounds are superb - giving a feeling of power from that big Alison V1710 up front. In addition there is "RTDM mode" giving a uniquely accurate simulation of the hydraulic systems and you can 3D print your own P40 controls! You get the sense that Big Radials went the extra mile with this aircraft. Very highly recommended.
