Torsby Airport is a modern regional commercial airport and is located approximately 3 kilometers from the center of Torsby. The airport, which was completely renovated in 2005, has daily scheduled flights for companies and private individuals, business and taxi flights as well as utility flights, private flights and gliders. The airport is an important hub for Region Värmland and Torsby Hospital, as the airport is only about 4-5 minutes from the hospital.
Torsby Airport's runway is 1591 x 30 meters and there are two aprons. The airport has instrument approaches and a good level of equipment, which makes it easier to fly in, for example, darkness and fog.
This airport conclude my airport sceneries in Värmland Sweden. They include ESST Torsby, ESOH Hagfors, ESKV Arvika and ESGY Säffle.
