The EMB121A1-Xingu is a twin-turboprop fixed-wing aircraft built by the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, Embraer. The design is based on the EMB 110 Bandeirante, using its wing and engine design merged with an all-new fuselage.

The EMB121 was the first pressurized aircraft manufactured by Embraer and first flew on October 10, 1976. A modified variant of the EMB 121, the EMB 121A1-Xingu II, was introduced on 4 September 1981 with a more powerful engine (PT6A-135), increased seating and a larger fuel capacity.

Before production ceased in August 1987, Embraer had produced 106 EMB 121 aircraft, 51 of which were exported to countries outside Brazil. Currently, the French Air and Space Force is the largest operator with 22 aircraft still in service.

This is a beautiful little aircraft that BRSim has modeled very nicely. While I am not a pilot, nor am I expert in its flight controls, I do know what I like and, after having flown this for a short evening hop out of Pensacola, I can confidently say that the Xingu is well-worth the price. Unlike so many other releases, now after what seems like 54 updates, the developer appears keen to address issues and make the E121 a worthy investment.

The airplane looks good, but there are some concerns that require attention. The model is highly unstable and extremely sensitive when it comes to flight control response as compared to the actual aircraft. The airspeed gauge has a VMO indicator (the stripped pointer) that incorrectly is linked to the max speed for the flaps and moves based on those speeds. The VMO will only move and show the maximum allowable airspeed at any altitude, with no relationship with anything else. VSI is missing "0" marker. RMI will not show relative being to the tuned VOR. NDB works fine. We should be able to have both indications in RMI mode for 2 simultaneous VORs and NDBs.

With this latest update this aircraft is flying very well. The GTN750xi addition is a good touch, and it hand flies well. Thanks for the update.

I folow procedures and it won't start. Can't rate it if I can't fly. I even try Ctrl E with no luck.

+ Good Model + Registry can be set in menu - No Flight States in EFB (ready for Taxi) - Checklist is there but not able to Auto Complete Tasks using def ault checklist feature from toolbar In general this could easilly be a 5star Aircraft if it get updated

This plane would be great if everything worked. The altimeter doesn't seem to work properly, the hundreds of feet hand rotates correctly, but the rolling numbers display seems to get stuck. The condition levers cannot be used with any axis, as it seems to function like a 3 position switch. The parking brake keybind doesn't seem to do anything, so you need to click on the switch. the EFB tablet and weather radar are very dim when flying during the day, even at max brightness. It'll be an awesome plane, but it needs a bit more time to iron out some of the issues.

No big problems with this plane, everything is functional, the checklists are complete. It looks a lot like the other Embraer in the same category made by a competitor a long time ago. I find it with better graphics and a tablet.

Yes it looks great inside and out but even after following the checklist and with minimal load and 20% fuel, it taxi's WAY too quickly even on idle power and 50% RPM, and on takeoff struggles to reach 100kt. Once in the air (after taking up most of a 2500m runway, it wont accelerate beyond 130kt. The flight model needs heaps more work. Shame, it has great potential
