ERCOUPE 415C MSFS

Es ist nich was man erwartet. Leider keine koppelung des Seitenleitwerkes mit den Querrudern.
Es sind 2 Pedale zum steuern des Seitenleitwerkes angefügt worden und somit nichts tolles oder besonderes. Einfach nur ein ganz normales Flugzeug mit einem nicht funktionierendem Öldrucksystem und Öltemperatur funktioniert auch nicht. Die Leistung ist grottig, wobei ich das Flugzeug nicht im echten Leben gesehen habe und so keine Rückschlüsse für mich möglich sind. Die Fenster sollten zu öffnen sein, seit Update einfach nicht mehr möglich was auf den bequemsten Weg ein Problem auszuräumen hindeutet. Wenn man die hässliche Kiste aber unbedingt braucht, muss man halt Zahlen.
Für dieses Geld aber definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

2 pedals have been added to control the vertical stabilizer and therefore nothing great or special. Just a normal plane with a non-functioning oil pressure system and oil temperature will not work either. The performance is terrible, although I haven't seen the plane in real life so I can't draw any conclusions. The windows should be able to be opened, since the update it is simply no longer possible, which indicates the most convenient way to eliminate a problem. But if you absolutely need the ugly box, you have to pay.
Definitely not recommended for this money.

I really love this Plane. This and Br Sim Design's H35 Vtail are just fantastic. Some of the best engine vibration effects and prop effect i have seen. Flight model is great and the plane is such a joy to fly. I have both and they are a part of my regular rotation. This one is unique in its design. Definately worth it! You won't regret it.

A fun airplane to fly and a most welcome addition to my sim hangar. I do luv me some Ercoupe and follow a great YouTuber who posts vids of his real-life flights - also in a shiny silver craft.

Negatives? I am finding it rather difficult to slowdown for landing and it seems to want to float down the runway forever? Perhaps I'm doing something wrong? Also the front cowling and ailerons have an unrealistic and slightly distracting constant "bounce" motion compared to the real plane. Maybe the developers could cut that in half at the very least?

I jumped at this when I first heard of it. I loved the Ercoupes offered for XPlane and P3D, and was hoping for one for MSFS, and here it is. It is, unfortunately, just OK as it is. The 1.1 update solved one issue I had, which was the tablet on the yoke. I was hoping that it would also address the very noticeable tendency of the aircraft to float forever down the runway with the throttle at idle. Landing is very unrealistic from what I have seen from the numerous Ercoupe videos I have watched. (I am a former RW pilot, but have never flown an Ercoupe). I would also like to see, as others have mentioned, the ability to open the side windows partially. It is very common to fly with the windows in a partially open position, from what I have seen. If that can't be done, at least an animation of the windows opening instead of instant open and instant close. The external visual model is great, but I would like the ability for the aircraft to accept my custom tail number as entered in the sim. Overall, I am fairly happy with the aircraft, but the above would make me ecstatic and make me much more liable to recommend it to others.

I'd give this a 2.5 for now if half stars were allowed. This is a mediocre release that needs a bit of work to be good. First of all, another reviewer mentioned all steering is handled by the yoke. Not sure if they've even flown it because that's not true, you still have to use rudder pedals. Engine sounds are default XCub. There are sounds for the prop lever movement, even though there is no prop lever. There is no sound attenuation when opening the canopy, as usual for BRSim. If you open the canopy with crash detection on, the plane will crash. This plane was/is regularly flown with the canopy open. The canopy door animation is instant (i.e., there is no animation.) This is lazy and looks bad, but also means you can’t partially open the canopy (something I’ve seen Ercoupe pilots do on approach or just when they need some air.) The aircraft will float forever. It behaves like a glider. You can safely land this at 40 kts with absolutely no power or wind. Very unrealistic compared to the actual 415C. The trim is very slow, and the trim wheel animation frequently breaks for me. Night lighting leaves much to be desired and is way too bright. The click spot for the tablet is about 1px tall which is a pain for TrackIR/VR use. The prop disk animation is very choppy and has a film effect. BRSim, I worry, does not understand aircraft very well and this addon continues to demonstrate that.

Probably one of my favorite planes in my fairly extensive hanger. The only thing I find questionable is the power - is it maybe a little overpowered? Maybe someone who's actually flown an Ercoupe has the answer.

This is pretty nice rendition of the beloved Ercoupe. Push the rudder pedals away because all steering is handled by the yoke. I have only two issues. The trim is kind of weird. It seems to be uncontrollable from the on screen controls. Either fully up fully down or neutral. I was able to do fine adjustments from the trim wheel on my Honeycomb throttle quadrant, but the cockpit control did not indicate the change.

The second thing I noticed was that even though the windows will open, they are set up to either be fully closed or fully open. Also if you open them during flight the sim crashes due to over stressing the airframe. The same thing happens if you try to take off with them open. From what I have seen, the windows can be opened during flight IRL.

Overall a good job with just a couple of bugs.
