• Flight 2 (Day, VMC): You are on final. Improve your arrested landing skills.
• Flight 3 (Day, IMC): Check-ride. You are three-quarter mile. Call the ball.
• Flight 4 (Night, VMC): The F/A-18D is ready to launch from an aircraft carrier catapult, fly a pattern, and return to land on the carrier deck.
• Flight 5 (Night, VMC): You are on final. Perfect your arrested landing skills.
• Flight 6 (Night, VMC): Final Check-ride. You are three-quarter mile. Call the ball.

F-117A Carrier Ops Transition Program:

Mir gefällt die F-18 recht gut, macht spass sie zu fliegen. Die F-117 habe ich nochnicht geflogen. Da macht das Carrier Training richtig spass. Ist seinen Preis auf jedenfall wert.

Mit dem XLOAD Paket von Captainsim bin ich nicht zufrieden. Wer nicht das Acceleration Pack von Microsoft besitzt, wird nicht wirklich viel Freude an dem Produkt haben, da er lediglich eine zweisitzige Variante der F/A 18 erhält die weder F/A 18-Sound noch Virtuelles Cockit etc. besitzt. Wie gesagt, mit dem Acceleration Pack hat man ja bereits die einsitzer Variante der Hornet bei der mit dem XLOAD Paket das ganze einfach nur um das Modell der zweisitzer Variante erweitert wird. Insofern also nur eine kleines AddOn für Besitzer des Acceleration Packs und eine kleine Mogel Packung für die, die das Acceleration Pack noch nicht haben. Als On Top Zugabe wird noch eine F-117 mit beigepackt, die aber meiner Meinung nach für Captainsim Qualitätsansprüche einfach nur unterirdisch schlecht ist. Schaut aus wie ein Freeware Modell das zudem auch noch das Virtuelle Cockpit der F/A 18 benutzt. Also auch etwas, mit dem ein echter Flightsimmer sich nie ernsthaft befassen wird. Daher finde ich den Preis von 19,99 € definitiv zu hoch. Wer ein qualitativ gutes F-117 Addon haben möchte, dem empfehle ich das Produkt von Justflight, das ebenfalls hier bei Simmarket erhältlich ist. Schon die Vermarktungspolitik der Captainsim 767 stieß mir damals sauer auf und jetzt habe ich wieder ein wenig das Gefühl abgezockt zu werden. 3 Punkte gebe ich für das ansich wirklich erstklassige F/A 18 Modell als Ganzes. so long
