Saint Petersburg is Russia's 2nd largest city after Moscow with 5 million inhabitants (2012) and the fourth most populated federal subject.
Between 1713–1728 and 1732–1918, Saint Petersburg was the imperial capital of Russia. In 1918, the central government bodies moved from Saint Petersburg (then named Petrograd) to Moscow.
Saint Petersburg is a major European cultural center, and also an important Russian port on the Baltic Sea. Saint Petersburg is often described as the most Western city of Russia, as well as its cultural capital. It is the northernmost city in the world with a population of over one million.
Pulkovo airport is the third busiest airport in Russia and Post-Soviet states. Pulkovo had a passenger traffic rate of 9,874,941 (+12.6%) as of September 1, 2014. The airport holds the title of being one of the largest airports in Russia and Eastern Europe.
ULLI St.Petersburg X is a highly detailed scenery of Pulkovo airport in St.Petersburg, Russia.
St.Petersburg Pulkovo ULLI-XP Package Features:
Fully compatible with X-Plane 10
Photorealistic textures on the airport buildings
Custom textured taxiways, runways and apron
Realistic ground markings
Highly realistic night time effects with custom 3D runway and taxilights
Though this scenery is for xplane10, the airport looks great in xplane11.
However, some of the surrounding buildings are located below the ground and others are lifted into the air, which I hope will be fixed in the future.
Despite this scenery being 5 years old since its release and advertised for XP10, it looks and works great in XP11 with some nice texturing and model of the terminal.
Hopefully it will recieve an update in the future to bring it up to the high quality that Digital Design is known for.
