4 stars, great terminal, great textures, great performance. A little pricey for the airport size compared to other sceneries, however DominicDesign is up there for being one of the top developers for MSFS.
Overall this is a good rendition of KPNS. It is certainly the best rendition of it on any sim platform to date. With that being said, it does suffer from a few minor problems that can be addressed by the developer in good time. The biggest problem I have with this airport in its current state is a small stutter when turning to view the terminal. I can see a large spike in VRAM usage which is where this stutter is coming from. This may be addressed in SU10 but perhaps a little more optimization could eliminate this sudden loss of performance for that one second it occurs. The other eye sore is the extremely repetitive ground textures over on the GA ramp. The rest of this airport does not suffer from this but that area is awful to look at and needs to have the texture updated to a less repetitive texture with a bit of good randomization dirty and wear and tear overlayed on top to break up the repeating pattern. There are some trees that need to be sawed down with a good vegetation exclusion polygon. Overall good performance, a lovely terminal, and good groundline work. Keep them coming Dom!
Hello. Well, I live in Pensacola and have worked at the AP for a-while back in 2020. You have the terminal and parking areas ok, but still too many trees. Inside the terminal is good with the animations, however the out side areas of the AP need improvement. As for the hangers across from the terminal on the east side of RWY 17, they are awful... Trees in and around the hangers, buildings look good though. Not at all good for a pay ware product. The surrounding area just at the outskirts of the of the AP fence area needs work, you have road textures that are new and do not blend in with the areas around it and just end. The exclusion zones do not even look like some time was spent on them.
Needless to say, this AP is below par and not in line with Freeware AP's. This is just a quick review of my opinion. I'm sure it can and will be brought up to snuff in (Hopefully) further updates, but for now... not worth the money.
Excellent FPS, very nice interior modeling, attention to details, decent texturing. However a bit pricey for a smaller airport. Overall a quality release.
