The scenery overall is good but i was not at all happy with the performence ss i was getting severly low FPS. I do understand that its a huge airport with a lot of detail, but i do have many other such sceneries that offer great FPS at msx settings.
I gave this 3 stars because i feel there was some things lacking in this scenery
1) The actual scenery it's self is really nice, it's great to see a newer Nartia in P3D
2) The AFCAD that came with this airport is a complete mess and it needs redone, cargo planes parking at the passenger terminal, lots of empty gates etc
3) No SODE. The lack of SODE jetways at this airport really lets the scenery down, as i said the actual scenery it's self is really nice i just feel more effort could have went into the optimisation of this airport which is why i gave it 3 stars.
BRAVO! If you've been to Tokyo's Narita Intl in real life, you will not be disappointed. The AI works very well with some tweaks to airline gate assignments based on personal experiences during many visits to this airport. Very good detail with very little impact to performance. Even if it wasn't on sale, I'd gladly pay the normal price.
This is a masterpiece- so richly detailed and so alive with aircraft and activity, yet its performance is fluid all the while. I’ve owned every attempted Narita scenery since FS98 and this is what I’ve been waiting for.
WOW, the recent update finally made the airport blend with orbx perfectly and added animated vehicles. Thanks for listening to our requests! Great job!
My pet peeve with DD is they refuse to blend their work to ORBX Global textures, i raised this frustration with their Vol.5 Polish Airports pack released in Jan this year...being a v2 product effectively youd hope that they would have thought okay heres an area to improve on...But no so their work sticks out like a sore thumb on approach and departure. Here the airport looks great, good texturing with room for improvements but a decent effort indeed.
Really nice airport with cool features and details. Maybe there is a compromise between high texture quality and performance, but I think there have been found a golden mean, especially for a such a big airport. I also noticed few minor bugs, but I'm pretty sure that fixes will come soon.
