QualityWings, one of the industry leaders in flight simulation now brings you the The Ultimate 787™ Collection for FSX. The Boeing™ 787 Dreamliner™ is a tech marvel of aviation. Using advanced composites, fuel efficiency, new electrical designs, new engine types, the 787 ushers in the future in aircraft design. You can now experience this airliner in FSX.
This product is an officially licensed product from Boeing™, and QualityWings has left almost no stone unturned in covering the vast array of features of the 787.
Exterior Models
Choose between three highly accurate and detailed models:
Boeing™ 787-8

Based on hundreds of drawings, photos and videos, the exterior models replicate every small detail of the real airplane. Differences between each variant - such as for the main landing gear - are modeled in great detail. In addition we made sure that material reflectivity, aircraft lights and animations closely resemble the real aircraft.
There are over 100 Custom animations on the exterior models including, but not limited to:
Realistic Wing Flex
787-9 HLFC System
787-10 Semi-Levered Landing Gear
Environmental Control System inlets & outlets
787-specific "Autodrag" function
787-specific Maneuver Load Alleviation
All Flight Controls
APU Inlet Door
Landing gear incl. Shock Strut Compression

And much, much more!
Many Liveries Available
Choose from over 65 high quality real-world liveries, available for download free of charge from the QualityWings website. Here is a sample of some of the liveries
Repaint Kit Available
We've provided a detailed paintkit for those who would like to paint their own liveries. There are many effects included to ensure that ANYONE can make great looking paints! It also includes MANY option layer sets allowing you to match several different airline configurations.
Flight Dynamics
Each variant comes with its own flight dynamic to ensure that you can actually feel the different handling characteristics. The Fly-by-Wire Flight Controls System has been simulated to great precision and accurately reflects the Boeing™ C*U, P-Beta and spiral stability logic you find on the real aircraft. Additionally, protective features such as Bank Angle Protection and Tail-Strike Protection help you to operate the aircraft safely. Flight Characteristics have been tested by real-world 787 drivers.
Flightdeck & Systems
The advanced flightdeck of the 787 has been painstakingly rendered:
Detailed 3D Virtual Cockpit with 787-8, 787-9 and 787-10 Flightdeck differences modeled
Undockable Multifunction Displays
Comprehensive Aircraft Systems Simulation incl. Fuel Balancing function
Comprehensive Flight Management System incl. SID / STARS

I can’t believe there are hardly any user reviews for this. Maybe not many people are buying it since it’s the most expensive add on aircraft around. Definitely a little price gouging here. I mean it’s a really really nice collection of the 787s. The cockpit is just unreal but so very real looking. Very very few aircraft add ons look this good! Even Carenado could learn something. I’ve been inspecting these and so far after a few hours of viewing and flying I can cannot find anything wrong or out of place. Quality Wings went all out here and it shows. This is a fully functioning aircraft that is represented at the highest level. The FMCs the Flight Bag touch screens are all clickable and easy to use. No finicky buttons or hard to locate click spots( except on the A/P Speed dial) to frustrate you.
Outstanding textures from A to Z and easy on frames. I use an integrated GPU and can fly this in and out of my Taxi2Gate or FlyTampa sceneries without issue. I’m running at 45 FPS consistently and only lose about -5 or so when in less optimized scenery add ons.
The lighting is oh so good! It looks so realistic. One could feel like they are looking through a window at the real thing when staring at the monitor.
The wing flex, engine and other sounds all come together for a fully immersive experience.
Hand flying is top of the heap excellent! It’s just how I imagine a real 787 would be like. Of course I only have videos, pictures and various ebooks to derive any sort of comparisons but being a flight sim fanatic with over 21000 hours and having over 400 aircraft add ons (paid and free) I can say that this is as good as it gets for FSX (PMDG not withstanding) and while it is over priced a bit, it’s the only 787 available that is worth buying. I waited years with this on my wish list looking for a sale but never saw one so I finally caved and paid the extreme sticker price. I have to say I just love this one!
So many liveries available also from QW website.
After a short chance to demo this plane I decided I had to have it. The flight deck was the biggest point for me after so many hours of brown and it's the first vc only plane I've been comfortable. Everything fits me and how I like things. It isn't pmdg level and while unfortunate there is little to be wanted with this one. I couldn't be more pleased.
