The Pfalz D.IIIa and his successor D.XII was a German fighter aircraft built by Pfalz Flugzeugwerke, and used by the Jagdstaffeln from the fall of 1917 to the end of the war.
Powered by Mercedes D.III (160-180 hp) six-cylinder watercooled inline engine,and with plywood monocoque fuselage it was the planes with great strength, light weight, and smooth contours.
Pfalz D.XII was the last Pfalz aircraft in widespread service.
