History
The Falcon 50 first prototype flew in November 1976 and deliveries of the trijet began in 1979. It had a new supercritical wing design and was the first business jet capable of crossing the Atlantic Ocean with legal fuel reserves. It had both a wing span and length of approximately 61 feet. It was originally equipped with three Garrett TFE 731-3 turbofan engines which gave it a range of over 3000 nautical miles, a typical cruise speed of 430 knots, and a ceiling of 45,000 feet. It could take off in slightly less than 4700 feet and land in less than 2700 feet. In the mid 1990s the Falcon 50 was updated with improved TFE 731 engines, new avionics and other improvements and the designation was changed to Falcon 50EX. The manufacturer produced 252 Falcon 50s and an additional 100 Falcon 50EXs. Production ended in 2008.
We have animated almost every function throughout the cabin and virtual cockpit. With custom coding we have accurate systems down to the smallest details. We have included 1 model for users who use the payware Flight 1 GNS 530 GTN 650/750 Reality XP GNS 530 GTN 650/750 or Milviz WX Advantage Radar unit and included is Flysimware's GNS 530 GPS unit with working VNAV system. If you do not own the radar it will be a static model. If you do own the weather radar it will come to life.
The Falcon 50 includes a custom sound set from Flysimware for an intense feeling of being in the real jet. The Falcon 50 uses the Collins APS-85 autopilot system with Collins flight instruments. Some new features like an active TCAS built into the VSI gauge and an external panel management tool that allows you to choose what type of GPS unit to load. We also included 2 popup windows for on the fly instructions to give you startup procedures. With 3DS MAX modeling program we have improved our AO effects throughout the interior and exterior models as Flysimware keeps improving the quality and overall product each project.

I love this bird!
This is a high fidelity simulation of the Dassault Falcon 50 of which I am really in love with. Flies great, handles great, truly a joy to fly.
This is by far the best business jet for P3D.
Really reccommend it!
The ability to integrate almost any GPS addon available on the market makes navigation easy and provides the user with lots of options.
The REX/Milviz weather radar can also be integrated and works perfectly with the aircraft.
I would recommend this Falcon to anyone looking for a well looking, flying and system deep business jet.
To those of you also looking at the Carenado Falcon 50, I tried both and this one is my favorite. While it does not feature a glass cockpit the ability to add the Flight1 GTN series fills the gap.
And it is far less buggy and a much greater joy to fly!
It runs smoothly even on heavy sceneries, it has nice handling caracteristics flies well.
Systems logic seems to be respected ( can't start APU with no fuel/ other related systems required) probably missing a FMS and VNAV, but with the GTN 750 it becomes a pleasure to fly RNAV app.
With the new update for the textures and PBR, it looks amazing!
I would have like to see more options on the popup panels, but for the plane itself, no regrets at all!
better spend money in there, a plane that behaves like so than a eye candy carenado..
plus as said with the update FSW FA50 is eye candy!
Thanks for the great job!
After a first reading of documentation, the FMC is rapidly comprehensible and become pleasant to use, there is a lot of functions to try.
P3D installation could be much explained.
I have had this Falcon 50 since it was released for public beta and have really enjoyed it.
It flies beautifully by hand or with the autopilot, is not difficult to learn, is consistently stable, has a great and accurate autopilot that works great with the Flight1 GTN 750(and many others).
Unlike Captain Sim or Carenado, Flysimware is not known for their outstanding fidelity with cockpit textures, but what they miss in textures they make up in system depth and realism.
On the other hand the Falcon 50 is a big improvement in Flysimware's cockpit and cabin textures from previous work. They are definitely improving in that arena.
As it is, I'm perfectly satisfied with the looks of the cockpit when I'm enjoying the great flight characteristics and system depth of this Falcon 50.
The Falcon 50 is very much worth having and addictive to fly.
