The Falcon 50 first prototype flew in November 1976 and deliveries of the trijet began in 1979. It had a new supercritical wing design and was the first business jet capable of crossing the Atlantic Ocean with legal fuel reserves. It had both a wing span and length of approximately 61 feet. It was originally equipped with three Garrett TFE 731-3 turbofan engines which gave it a range of over 3000 nautical miles, a typical cruise speed of 430 knots, and a ceiling of 45,000 feet. It could take off in slightly less than 4700 feet and land in less than 2700 feet. In the mid 1990s the Falcon 50 was updated with improved TFE 731 engines, new avionics and other improvements and the designation was changed to Falcon 50EX. The manufacturer produced 252 Falcon 50s and an additional 100 Falcon 50EXs. Production ended in 2008.
We have animated almost every function throughout the cabin and virtual cockpit. With custom coding we have accurate systems down to the smallest details. We have included 1 model for users who use the payware Flight 1 GNS 530 GTN 650/750 Reality XP GNS 530 GTN 650/750 or Milviz WX Advantage Radar unit and included is Flysimware's GNS 530 GPS unit with working VNAV system. If you do not own the radar it will be a static model. If you do own the weather radar it will come to life.
The Falcon 50 includes a custom sound set from Flysimware for an intense feeling of being in the real jet. The Falcon 50 uses the Collins APS-85 autopilot system with Collins flight instruments. Some new features like an active TCAS built into the VSI gauge and an external panel management tool that allows you to choose what type of GPS unit to load. We also included 2 popup windows for on the fly instructions to give you startup procedures. With 3DS MAX modeling program we have improved our AO effects throughout the interior and exterior models as Flysimware keeps improving the quality and overall product each project.

this is a great addon for p3d v4 .. if you care a lot about flight model .. it has excellent flight dynamics fde .. and i also like the model and texture .. it is great to hand fly this bird.
tks to the dev ..
I’m a bit sad to say this could be a lot better, it’s not bad, just not as good as the price would indicate. First off I had to deal with a flickering interior cockpit and cabin. It was maddening and made the plane unusable. After some forum research I found almost nothing by way of a solution. On the FlySimWare website F50 product page I found a file labeled “No flash” and downloaded it. The description said “not for FSX SE” however installing the patch completely resolved all flickering. So somehow it is for FSX SE. whatever the case problem is solved now.
Next up the general graphical appearance is a little less than great. Almost zero cabin lighting beyond the very dim ambient ceiling lighting, the rest is very dark. Again not terrible. Next complaint is the configuration tool doesn’t work. Only external door that opens and closes is the main door. The cockpit lighting is pretty good though. No baggage or any other external door animations. That leaves me feeling like this is a bit incomplete for such a high price. However the plane does fly and behave nicely and as described on paper.
Auto pilot works great and follows the route and waypoints. Fuel seems to burn a little faster than it should and the overall range suffers for it.
In the end I’m not regretting the purchase as it was on sale. If I had paid full price I’d be a lot more dissatisfied. Nevertheless it is fun to fly and I’m happy to finally have it in my virtual hangar.
Based on use with Win10 i7 3.3ghz 16GB Ram Intel UHD630 GPU.
Recommend if on sale.
Determined to have Falcon 50 in the 'hangar' I bought this after trying the Carenado version which has been a disaster and still won't install correctly in P3D 5 despite use of the patch.
The Flysimware Falcon 50 however installed flawlessly and is perfectly executed. I have Flysimware's Cessna Chancellor in MSFS and so should have known better and bought this first.
If you want a Falcon 50 this is the one to buy
A great addon! Nice model with some animations and a detailed interior, excellent hand flying, an brief yet complete documentation, an interactive load manager and the choice between a rather analogue cockpit and the possibility to retrofit it with a more advanced GPS device like the GTN 750 and the REX weather radar (both to be purchased separately-not included!)!
I love this bird!
Love this aircraft!
This is a high fidelity simulation of the Dassault Falcon 50 of which I am really in love with. Flies great, handles great, truly a joy to fly.
This is by far the best business jet for P3D.
Really reccommend it!
A great addon for a great aircraft! This simulation features the classic analogue version of the Falcon 50 business jet. Almost all systems are simulated and working as per the real airplanes flight manual.
The ability to integrate almost any GPS addon available on the market makes navigation easy and provides the user with lots of options.
The REX/Milviz weather radar can also be integrated and works perfectly with the aircraft.
I would recommend this Falcon to anyone looking for a well looking, flying and system deep business jet.
To those of you also looking at the Carenado Falcon 50, I tried both and this one is my favorite. While it does not feature a glass cockpit the ability to add the Flight1 GTN series fills the gap.
And it is far less buggy and a much greater joy to fly!
This plane is finally a good bizjet for Prepar3d/fsx,
It runs smoothly even on heavy sceneries, it has nice handling caracteristics flies well.
Systems logic seems to be respected ( can't start APU with no fuel/ other related systems required) probably missing a FMS and VNAV, but with the GTN 750 it becomes a pleasure to fly RNAV app.
With the new update for the textures and PBR, it looks amazing!
I would have like to see more options on the popup panels, but for the plane itself, no regrets at all!
better spend money in there, a plane that behaves like so than a eye candy carenado..
plus as said with the update FSW FA50 is eye candy!
Thanks for the great job!
The most complete panels to learn a modern aircraft.
After a first reading of documentation, the FMC is rapidly comprehensible and become pleasant to use, there is a lot of functions to try.
P3D installation could be much explained.
Cant give it 5 stars because the VC graphics while being fully functional, just aren't up to the standards of the day. That said it's an incredibly fun aircraft to fly, and a worthy purchase if your not put off by the VC graphics.
It's a very realistic rendition of the Dassault Falcon 50. Ok, the graphics are not the best in the flightsim, but for those who prefer the system fidelity to just eye-candy, this is a suitable product. Plus, this is maybe the best bizjet avaialable for FSX/P3D so far!
