Once again flytampa has done an amazing job. I work as a ground handler in Copenhagen Airport and the attention to detail is stunning. PBR looks amazing and performance is good but on the heavier side. It's missing some of the new E stands however they were build in 2019, so hopefully it will be included in an upcoming update. Can totally recommend!
The long wait for a dedicated P3Dv4 version of EKCH was well worth it! Fltytampa have produced a masterpiece of Kastrup airport and its surrounding land and coastal surrounding areas (inc. the Oresund Bridge and nearby wind farms). The detailing is just superb.
There was no noticeable framerate and system performance degradation when running it either.
This is a must have add-on.
Using FlyTampa EKCH with P3DV4.4, UTLive, GSX and FSLabs A320 as my new SAS hub.
Stunning! Visuals are as life-like and immersive as you can get in this simulator.
Performance on my quite old rig (overclocked i7-3770, GTX970) with all features turned on (including lots of AI aircraft, trains and moving ramp staff) is 26 fps, smooth and stutter free as seen from the cockpit on a normal approach, which is really good for this level of complexity. I am sure modern systems will get WAY better than that.
Make sure to have autogen density/radius and road traffic in P3D lowered to make the most of the performance for the airport's features instead.
Docking and ground immersion is the best I have encountered. Surfaces, lighting both day and night are close to the real thing. ILS, AFCAD have worked fine and to the correct positions.
Beware of course to adjust P3D accordingly to make the most of the reflections, bloom and shadow effects to fit your taste, especially for night ligthing effects.
Not bothering so much with the surroundings and the Öresundsbridge, however also that is really well modelled and is a beautiful sight on a clear day approaching 22L.
A very, very good scenery indeed. Highly recommended.
Absolutely fantastic scenery from FlyTampa as usual. The "old" version of Copenhagen still holds up as a fantastic scenery for sure, but with the updated layout, PBR texturing and small details as startup markings on the apron added, it just feels so much more immersive. Not to mention the quite decent performance boost. All in all a no brainer to get, specially with the discount if you own v1 of Copenhagen. (My copy is bought directly from FlyTampa)
