Dodoma Airport (IATA: DOD, ICAO: HTDO) is an airport serving the Tanzanian capital of Dodoma. It has a runway of about 2.5 km at an elevation of 1,109 metres (3,638 feet).

Dodoma (literally "It has sunk" in Gogo), officially Dodoma City, is the national capital of Tanzania and the capital of Dodoma Region, with a population of 410,956.Located in the centre of the country, the town is 453 kilometres (281 mi) west of the former capital at Dar es Salaam and 441 kilometres (274 mi) south of Arusha, the headquarters of the East African Community. It is also 259 kilometres (161 miles) north of Iringa through Mtera. It covers an area of 2,669 square kilometres (1,031 sq mi) of which 625 square kilometres (241 sq mi) is urbanized.

I have been to this airport,I have to say, this airport recall my time in Dodoma. Although Dodoma is Tanzania's nominal capital, it obviously doesn't have an airport of the same size as the "capital". The airport has been expanded and fscgaa also made the expansion part. Overall, fscgaa has done a excellent job, the airport simulates reality, models and textures are wonderful. More importantly, it has a friendly fps. I really really really hope fscgaa can produce a Duoma city scenery. Anyway, more African airport, please!!!
