Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport (IATA: PKB, ICAO: KPKB, FAA LID: PKB) is a public use airport located six nautical miles (11 km) northeast of the central business district of Parkersburg, in Wood County, West Virginia, United States.
It is owned by the Wood County Airport Authority and is known as Wood County Airport or Gill Robb Wilson Field.
It serves the Mid-Ohio Valley area which includes the Ohio cities of Marietta and Belpre and the West Virginia cities of Williamstown, Parkersburg and Vienna.
It is mostly used for general aviation, but also has scheduled passenger service subsidized by the Essential Air Service program.
This is my hometown airport which is why I purchased it. When I first installed it I really like the graphics. Then I started flying in and out of there. That's when I became very disappointed. There are many areas if you fly in or taxi around you suddenly crash your plane. They are like invisible walls. When you taxi around the airport in certain places...you suddenly "CRASH"! There is nothing visible in front, back, sides or above. You just crash for no reason. Very annoying and almost impossible to use. I wrote to the designer who said they would get back to me within 24 hours. Its been weeks now with no response. I would avoid purchasing this scenery until its fixed (which will probably never happen).
