Mariscal Sucre International Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional Mariscal Sucre) (IATA: UIO, ICAO: SEQM) is the busiest airport in Ecuador and one of the busiest airports in South America.
It is located in the Tababela parish, about 18 kilometres (11 mi) east of Quito and serves as the largest hub of TAME, the flag carrier of Ecuador, with an average of over 220 weekly flights.
It opened in February 2013 and replaced the old Mariscal Sucre International Airport.
The ILS doesn't work. I spent hours trying to fix it but no results. AI traffic doesn't work either. The airplanes just disappear when it's time to fly.
Very disappointed.
Graphics are good.
So I can not confirm the previous criticisms;
All ILS frequencies are available, including the VOR QIT.
Also fit the height specifications (MESH). In parking position 14 I am exactly at 8000 ft. The place fits in well with my ORBX addons. The airport itself is OK. FSXCENERY releases very fast, of course you can not expect flightbeam qualities here.
This is a pretty good scenery product. At first I had problems with the topographic elevations and was not happy with the purchase, but discovered later that the problem was created not by the scenery but by a mesh addon I had installed. Once that was sorted out the scenery's elevation problem was gone and I now enjoy flying in and out of SEQM.
Having researched SEQM on Google Earth and compared it to the SEQM scenery, the rendering and detail is very good and accurate. I am using this scenery on P3Dv4 and Steam FSX (both options available in the installer) and it works great on both systems.
I am very pleased with this SEQM scenery and recommend it to everyone who wants a good product for a good price.
I was glad to find a scenery for SEQM. But it is a big mountain, it is not fit into the surroundings, the ILS does not work and the altitude is not right.
No way to land there.
Sunk cost, unfortunatley.
Bad performance in P3Dv4, the FPS drops dramatically in comparison than other similar esceneries (High performance PC). Maybe the Tool used is not for 64 bit.
