No more helicopters that “slide” across the parking apron: with HeliDolly, your aircraft are handled just like they would be on a real flight line. Two remotely operated dollies, a ground crew technician working right before your eyes, and you can watch your aircraft being lifted and towed, day or night.
Skid Dolly (for skid-equipped helicopters): slides underneath the parked helicopter, then its scissor-lift mechanism extends up to the aircraft's belly and automatically raises it by 15 cm (6 inches) before moving it wherever you want.
Wheeled Dolly (for wheeled helicopters and light aircraft with tricycle landing gear – Cessna, Rallye, Piper, etc.): positions the nosewheel (or tailwheel) in its cradle and locks it in place, raises it by 10 cm (4 inches) and tows the aircraft, which naturally pivots on its main landing gear. On most aircraft, the nosewheel follows the tug's movement when turning.
Realistic, animated ground crew by ARL Conception (high-visibility vest and hearing protection): moves along with the dolly, forward, backward and through turns. Positioned at the wheeled dolly's towbar, remote control in hand, or walking behind the aircraft when using the skid dolly. Can be disabled with a single click.
Animated mechanisms: scissor lift, cradle with support arms, locking rollers, securing strap, steering wheels, nosewheel and towbar, plus four orange warning beacons with alternating double flashes.
Realistic equipment details: weathered paintwork (chipped paint, rust, marks and dirt), treaded tires and ARL Conception badges.
Built-in 3D simulator sounds: maneuvering noises, coupling and uncoupling signals.
Aircraft remain perfectly stationary on the dolly, unaffected by wind.
Avatar mode: with either dolly, leave the aircraft and follow the entire operation on foot.
Bilingual control console (French/English): joystick control (consistent speed when moving straight or turning), adjustable speed and dolly selection.
Optimized performance: four levels of detail (LOD) per model to help maintain your frame rate.
