Grenada is located at the southernmost tip of the Windward Islands in the Eastern Caribbean Sea, about 160 km south of the coast of Venezuela. It is a tropical marine climate with an average annual temperature of 26 ℃.

Agriculture and tourism are the foundation of economy. The output of nutmeg, the main agricultural product, accounts for about one third of the world's total output, ranking second only to Indonesia. It is now a member of the Commonwealth.

Grenada is a member of many international organizations. However, due to personnel and financial constraints, Grenada mainly participates in meetings and activities of the United Nations, the organization of American States, the Caribbean Community and the common market, as well as the organization of Eastern Caribbean States. Grenada is rich in plant resources. Vegetation area is vast, almost covering the whole island, mainly natural tropical trees and shrubs, mountain area has a large rain forest. There are many kinds of trees, such as nutmeg, banana and cocoa. 75% of the rainforests are owned by the state.
