In this simulation we have captured the Spitfire as it was in perhaps the most important phase of its development - the early years of WWII. We begin with the Prototype as it was rolled out of the factory and first flown at Eastleigh in 1936, and end with the Mk1A ‘standard’ production Spitfire which fought alongside that other venerable fighter, the Hawker Hurricane, in the Battle of Britain.

The supplied paint schemes include a number of aircraft flown by the ‘aces’ of the Battles of France and Britain and the flight dynamics of this simulation have been specially programmed to allow you to fly ‘by the book’, so go ahead and try your skill at ‘matching the numbers’ achieved by ‘Mutt’ Summers and Jeffrey Quill in the prototype, or test your nerve on an endurance run over the fields of France and back in your Mk1A!

Custom built exclusively for Just Flight, with an incredibly detailed and ultra-high quality cockpit, exacting flight dynamics and realistic Merlin engine sounds, this is the ultimate Spitfire package for FSX!

All the aircraft from this Spitfire add-on are also available in the Battle of Britain 70th Anniversary package (Download and Boxed) which also includes our Hurricane and Me 109 add-ons.

Included aircraft

Prototype K5054 -first flew on March 5, 1936. The airframe was finished in primer paint of varying colour density and the engine panels were left in bare aluminium alloy. The aircraft lacked radio equipment and carried the bare necessities for testing. Captain 'Mutt' Summers was at the controls.

Prototype K5054 - as seen at Hendon Air Pageant in the new types park, 1936. Wheel spats had been added to the oleo struts and covered the entire well with smaller folding spats at their ends.

19 Squadron Mk1 K9795 with two-blade, fixed-pitch Watts wooden propeller and flat perspex canopy. Also, note the 'ring and bead' gunsight and early aerial. This was the first production Spitfire to be delivered to the RAF for operational use.

19 Squadron Mk1 QV-W K9854 with two-blade propeller, flown by Flt.Lt. Wilfred Clouston, October 1939.

65 Squadron Mk1 FZ-L K9906 with two-blade propeller, flown by Flt. Lt. Robert 'Bob' Stanford Tuck, Hornchurch, August 1939. Stanford Tuck became the first Spitfire ace over Dunkirk in May 1940.

74 Squadron Mk1 ZP-A with two-blade propeller, flown by Flt. Lt. Adolf 'Sailor' Malan, Hornchurch, May/June 1940. It was in this aircraft that Malan eventually became an ace in several remarkable exploits. The machine was eventually destroyed in a crash in 1943.

19 Squadron Mk1A QV-H P9546 flown by George 'Grumpy' Unwin.

19 Squadron Mk1A QV-K P9386 flown by Squadron Leader Brian Lane, Fowlmere 1940.

54 Squadron Mk1A KL-B P9398 flown by Squadron Leader Al Deere, Rochford 1940.

222 Squadron Mk1A ZD-F P9323 flown from Hornchurch in July/August 1940

610 Squadron Mk1A DW-O L1043 flown from Biggin Hill July 1940.

65 'East India' Squadron Mk1A YT-J R6775 flown from Hornchurch July 1940.

WF SCENERY STUDIO - HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT VHHH P3D
Bradley
Very nice scenery indeed, looks great at night, good small details in various places. Lacks a good afcad which is now edited over at AIG Alpha India Group ; ) and also could be improved in areas like the construction site and other areas where building is going on. This is a nicer version of VHHH over T2Gs in my opinion and is also better in regards to housekeeping and the installation.
AZURPOLY - LFTH TOULON HYERES AIRPORT MSFS
Brian
Nice little airport looks great but no SID's or Star's for me. I don't know if it down to the Airport devs or MSFS. Hope it will get sorted soon.
AZURPOLY - LFTH TOULON HYERES AIRPORT MSFS

Nice scenery. Not highly detailed but enough to enjoy it. Some improvements on the civil airport would be appreciated to be really immersive (buildings, flag, ... little boxy, brightness, shadows ...) ; hope we will have a more « photographic based on »update On A1 parking, night, two « sparkling circles» appear randomly in the sky (maybe a specific issue with my configuration), SID available but not STAR with A320 probably a msfs issue.

This is scenery very good. I advise everyone. there are also all the airports of the Sheremetyevo
TAXI2GATE - BRATISLAVA LZIB FSX
Nigel
Brilliant scenery with lots of detail; excellent performance in FSXA and Dx-10 even with detailed addon aircraft. Well done Taxi2gate!
NEMETH DESIGNS - AEROLITE 103 MSFS
Tom
I love this plane. It is good looking and well detailled. Ideal for "low and slow" sightseeing. It flies well. The package comes with many liveries and a small but clear manual. I certainly can recommend this plane.
TABURET - DENVER MSFS
Andres
I wasn't always 100% happy with the Taburet city addons in the past. Also because I'm quite picky. For the new MSFS I decided to give it another try and wow I don't regret it! The downtown landmark buildings & arenas are all present and the textures blend in perfectly. Former issues with non-aligned roads and buildings seem fully solved. Furthermore, I couldn't measure any serious impact on frames. Well done!
CARENADO - S330 FSX P3D
thomas
first of all, i have purchased the 360 before the 330. The 360 is very good in all aspects, but i prefer the tail configuration of the 330. I was concerned about FPS because of no LIGHT-Version as is was available for the 360, but no problem at all. Textures, Sound are top notch, the FDE reasonable, slightly better then the 360. The virtual cabin ist great. Overall a great package. It would not be Carenado, if a little blunder spoils the joy. The lower cuff of the yoke is somehow mis-alligned, so there is a hole in the cockpit floor where you can see the ground.
PROJECT MAX - WAMM SAM RATULANGI MANADO FSX P3D4-5
Lee
Wow!! What a nice little scenery!! My advice? Go and get it !!! This is perhaps one of the nicest little sceneries I have seen for some time. Ok, it's not FLYTAMPA or FLIGHTBEAM, but it is a well put together little scenery that has all the things you would expect to see in P3Dv4 and 5 - Dynamic Lighting, well positioned and created, good ground textures, lovely taxiway lighting and some nice little touches - Fire Engines in their station, Airport location written on the Control Tower, numerous cars, signs and other bits and pieces to enhance the product and it fits in quite well with the surrounding scenery too! And perhaps the best part? It's only 6 Euros!! It's worth twice that in my opinion. At a time when many of us complain about products for Flight Simulation that are often just a bit overpriced, this is a real STEAL! My first encounter with Project MAX, but if this is what they are capable of, then I cannot wait to see what they produce as their skills get better and they bring more stuff to the market. Well done guys! Can't praise this enough! Check out my video review on my YouTube channel this coming weekend (VirtualAirline-
Pilot channel - 29NOV'20) DISCLAIMER - I am not associated with Project MAX and my review is my own unbiased opinion. Rev-

DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - RJAA TOKYO NARITA P3D4.4-5
Devin-Scott
BRAVO! If you've been to Tokyo's Narita Intl in real life, you will not be disappointed. The AI works very well with some tweaks to airline gate assignments based on personal experiences during many visits to this airport. Very good detail with very little impact to performance. Even if it wasn't on sale, I'd gladly pay the normal price.
