Heraklion International Airport "Nikos Kazantzakis" (IATA: HER, ICAO: LGIR) is the primary airport on the island of Crete, Greece, and the country's second busiest airport after Athens International Airport. It is located about 5 km east of the main city centre of Heraklion, near the municipality of Nea Alikarnassos. It is a shared civil/military facility. The airport is named after Heraklion native Nikos Kazantzakis, a Greek writer and philosopher. Nikos Kazantzakis Airport is Crete's main and busiest airport, serving Heraklion(Ηράκλειο), Aghios Nikolaos (Άγιος Νικόλαος), Malia (Mάλλια), Hersonissos (Χερσόνησος), Stalida (Σταλίδα), Elounda (Ελούντα) and other resorts.

I was hoping for at least the same quality as the P3D version. Unfortunately the terminal windows are very poorly textured. So much so I thought there was some other default scenery showing through. On quick glance it looks to be nice but unfortunately as you get closer in some areas it just looks very rushed and lacks detail. Glad I only paid the upgrade price.

Habe mir die Scenery gekauft, weil man den Airport und Kreta im realen Leben kennt. Die Bodentexturen und das Terminal ist solide dargestellt. Was einen nur sofort aufgefallen ist, die Feuerwehrwache rechts vom Terminal fehlt komplett. Auch der Hafen von Heraklion wurde umgesetzt und Teile der Stadt, wobei da trotzdem jedes Haus gefühlt geich aussieht. Das dass Innere im Termimal nicht dagestellt wird, wie in der Freeware-Version, ist schade, aber kann man verschmerzen. Selbst nachts lässt sich der Airport sehen lassen. Im Grunde kann ich euch den Airport empfehlen, er ist eine Verbesserung zur Freeware Version, aber beim Preis wären wahrschweinlich 15 Euro angemessener.
