Coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator an amazing Warships pack with 4 highly detailed controllable ships in the game. HOW TO INSTALL:

Locate the Microsoft Flight Simulator installation folder
You need to find and open the folder called Community
Copy the three folders "Marine RM Litoral Combat Ship", "Marine RM Patrol Boat Mark VI", "Marine RM Destroyer DDG-143"  and "Marine RM Battleship BB-55 North Carolina" you just extracted into the Community folder
Start the game and the Litoral Combat Ship, Patrol Boat Mark VI, Destroyer DDG-143 and Battleship North Carolina BB-55 ships will be in your hangar ready to sail!

HOW TO PLAY:

Start the game at the headland of some seaplane runway, put the engine on 100% and wait a few seconds for the ship to start moving. The water trails and smoke will start with the slowest speed you are on the Destroyer and Battleship. These ships do not have a reverse engine for the time being, but this will be implemented in an upcoming update. Click L to activate an overnight navigation beacon. Quickly activate and deactivate the landing gear to honk. It is possible to start anywhere in the world on water, read the last paragraph of the following section to understand how.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

  • This add-on will continue to be developed for improvements such as: Interior improvements, functional gauges, improved navigation physics and corrected lighting in Battleship. Soon all models will receive this and more updates.
  • The amount of water trails is limited by Asobo for now, when this limitation is removed from the SDK boats will have more sprays on the front and sides.
  • The speed of all boats is limited to less than 30kts for water stability reasons.
  • When starting the departure, the ship may appear stuck in the water or sinking. This is because the SDK does not recognize the 3D model of the boat as an entire object, regardless of the contact points. For now, a solution to this is to press the "Y" KEY to enter and press it again to exit Yoke Mode to correctly position the ship in the water. This will definitely be improved soon.
  • Don't start cold, a boat's starter function is unrealistic without a panel.
  • Water waves can start out "hard", with a strange texture. This changes gradually during the game, when turning in any direction.

I won't buy the product until they fix some of these issues. It would be nice to see the tall light post and lighting by the FedEx cargo ramp, and I would like the gas station and subway store modeled since it's on the airport premises.

- o - Gorgeous Terminal with fully modelled airside interior with animated peeps. o - Detail models in general with HD texturing with PBR materials. o - Most buildings 3D modelled. o - 72 FPS in the PMDG 737 sitting at the terminal with no AI traffic running on my HIGH/ULTRA settings. o - Nicely lit terminal area and cargo area at night. Interior lighting good. The Bad: ----------
- o - Disonnected Jetways. They are off by a foot or two on many gates. o - HOLY BLUE EDGE LIGHTS BATMAN! Way to many edge lights. These need to be hand placed. Wish devs would stop relying on the SDK's stringer placement system. Make a 3D light model and hand place it in the proper locations! o - Night lighting missing from areas where it should be such as the parking lots and the west side ramps of the airport. There are HUGE 32' tall ramp lights there in real life. o - Lumberjacks need to cut down some trees on the airport grounds. Way to many trees taht don't belong on the airport grounds. o - Extremely low LOD level on the ground taxi markings making them pop in to view from the cockpit. We should never see taxi line textures popping into existence in visual range from the cockpit. o - Lack of clutter in cargo area and across the whole airport in general. Needs more lived in look. o - Weird terrain mesh in places but at least its not near the terminal area. o - Some poor ground marking mistakes Ove-
r all a decent start to KIND but there are some pretty bad mistakes/ommiss-
ions that show a lack of quality control. A few more days in the developer oven would have made a far better product worthy of 4 to 5 stars. I own all of Dominic's scenery and they get better with each new product as they learn the SDK. Nudge the jetways to the building, remove the excess edge lights, fix broken ground markings and bad LOD and toss some cargo containers and palettes in the cargo ramps and we'll have a winner!

Very disappointed. Color adjustment leaves trees and building shadows blue. Too many red roofs for houses, which is not usual for Montreal. Only conifer trees, when it is mostly broadleaf for Montreal. Many flat roofs are shimmering, which is annoying. Density of trees is also too sparse. I should not have bought it.

Going from default, this is a huge improvement. The whole scenery is modeled accurately with fine details like the inside of the terminal. Great work, top Tier.
