Overlooking the shores of Lake Annecy and the valleys of Haute-Savoie, the Aravis Range and the Bornes Massif offer one of the most distinctive pre-Alpine landscapes in the French Alps.

With “Mont Blanc Massifs 02 – Aravis, Bornes,” explore these landscapes using a new generation of terrain models created from official IGN HD LiDAR data—Open License / Open Data License 2.0.

Seamlessly continuing from Volume 01, this product covers two iconic massifs of the Haute-Savoie Pre-Alps, extending all the way to Lake Annecy:

• The Aravis Massif

• The Bornes Massif

This selection represents one of the most distinctive pre-Alpine areas in Haute-Savoie. It notably includes:

• The Aravis Range and its limestone ridges;

• The Glières Plateau;

• The peaks overlooking Lake Annecy;

• The Grand-Bornand and La Clusaz valleys;

• The alpine pastures and forests of the Bornes Massif;

• The region’s gorges and valleys with steep slopes;

• La Tournette and Mount Parmelan.

IGN LiDAR Technology

High-definition LiDAR data from France's Institut Géographique National is the absolute reference for terrain precision. It is fully leveraged here to deliver the most authentic flying experience currently available over these massifs in MSFS.

The product is delivered in the proprietary encrypted .aefpkg format, exclusive to Accurate France, together with AccurateFrance_MSFS_Installer.exe — our proprietary installer that automatically detects your MSFS configuration and installs the package in just a few clicks. No third-party tools required.

AccurateFrance_MSFS_Installer.exe — a lasting tool for the entire community

Beyond our own products, our installer is fully compatible with any MSFS add-on in .zip or .rar format, whether freeware or payware, regardless of the publisher. It automatically detects your MSFS 2020 and 2024 Community folders, supports advanced configurations such as MSFS AddonsLinker, and also benefits from free updates as the simulator evolves. Compatible MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024
