XMAPSY V3 - Connects your Microsoft Flightsimulator / FSX / FSX-Steam or Lockheed Martin Prepar3D ( V1 - V5) and X-Plane (10/11) with a lot of Electronic Flight Bag - Software on your tablet or phone and automatically records your flights in GPX and KML format .

This helpful tool sends Position- and AHRS-data of the own simulator aircraft and AI traffic information over your local network to various EFB solutions.
In addition to the XPlane message format, the new version V3 now also includes an ADS-B simulation using the GDL90 format, which is supported by more and more EFB solutions.
The connection to the simulator is made either via fsuipc (free version) or simconnect.
With XMapsy traffic data can finally be transferred to many popular programs. The list below shows the products that have been tested with XMapsy V3.1.8 under IOS and Android (If available for Android). However, it does not claim to be complete.

An additional new feature of XMapsy V3 is the automatic recording as GPX- and KML-Files of all your flights. XMapsy V3 tries to recognize the departure and destination airports and to name the files accordingly. Outside temperature, wind direction and wind strength currently measured on the aircraft are also stored for each recording-point.
This data can then be displayed in Google Maps or other suitable software.
KML files generated by XMapsy V3 can also be imported into the very helpful tool FlightControlReplay in order to generate a replay in MSFS 2020 (to look at the flight route again later in the simulator and maybe also to take some nice screenshots ).

Windows 8, 10 or higher
- free Version of Peter Dowson's FSUIPC for your simulator (If you want to use FSUIPC mode, otherwise SimConnect is used),
- X-Plane users must install XUIPC (download from http://www.schiratti.com/xpuipc.html) and set the connection via FSUIPC in the XMapsy settings.
- one of the following EFB-Apps for IOS or Android (if available): ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, WingX Pro, SkyDemon, Aerovie, FlyQ, Sky-Map, AvPlan EFB, OzRunways, EasyVFR, Stratus Insight, FltPlan GO, Air Navigation Pro, Enroute Flight Navigation , Avare, Droid EFB or AirMate.
