Helsinki is the capital, primate and most populous city of Finland. Located on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, it is the seat of the region of Uusimaa in southern Finland, and has a population of 656,229. The city's urban area has a population of 1,268,296, making it by far the most populous urban area in Finland as well as the country's most important center for politics, education, finance, culture, and research; while Tampere in the Pirkanmaa region, located 179 kilometres to the north from Helsinki, is the second largest urban area in Finland. Helsinki is located 80 kilometres north of Tallinn, Estonia, 400 km east of Stockholm, Sweden, and 300 km west of Saint Petersburg, Russia. It has close historical ties with these three cities.
Awful. Water colour mismatch makes it unusable - it looks like the area covered is sitting on a bar of chocolate. I suspected this might be bad, but the (obviously very carefully selected) pictures looked surprising ok for a photogrammetry product. But it's every bit as bad as I expected. Still, at lease it's convinced me to never ever buy a PG product again, so in that sene it was probably money well spent.
This scenery covers only a small area of central Helsinki. After installation, the simulator starts really slow (about 4 minutes slower), even though I have a fairly powerful computer (Intel I7, ssd, 32GB RAM, RTX 2080ti). FPS drops by about 10-20 frames per second compared to the original scenery (with 4k resolution, ultra-setting, FPS is between 10-20). With the 2k / high end setting, FPS is usable, about 30-50. The reason for the low FPS is probably that this scenery contains a lot of details. Color tone of the scenery area is also different from the original (especially water). Since the last update, the situation has improved somewhat. I hope this scenery will be optimized in the future.
