Nîmes-Garons Airport (LFTW): where civil aviation meets France's Sécurité Civile (Civil Security).

Located in southern France, Nîmes-Garons Airport (LFTW / FNI) is a regionally important airport: commercial aviation with 250,000 passengers in 2025 (to London, Brussels, Marrakech, etc.), along with general and business aviation and a flight school.

It shares its runway with the French Civil Security base (BASC) and its Canadair CL-415 and Dash 8 water bombers, as well as the helicopter unit (GHSC) with its EC145 "Dragon" helicopters.

This MSFS 2024 scenery has been modeled from on-site photographs.

Whether for IFR or VFR flights, airline rotations, or firefighting missions, Nîmes-Garons is far more than an airport to explore — it's a place to experience.

Around runway 18/36 (2,445 m / 8,022 ft), you'll find an ultra-detailed reproduction of both the civil airport and the Civil Security base:

Taxiways, parking areas, and ground markings
Ground textures, hangars, buildings, and technical facilities
Static aircraft and helicopters: Canadair CL-415, Dash 8, and EC145
Animations: characters, flags, and wind socks that react to real-world wind
Full night lighting: runway, taxiways, and ambient
The aerial imagery around the airport has been reworked: the default purplish tones are replaced with more natural colours.

Très belle réalisation de LFTW pour MSFS 2020. La scène est soignée, détaillée et s’intègre parfaitement à son environnement, ce qui rend les approches et les vols VFR particulièrement agréables. J’apprécie beaucoup le travail de LMT Simulation ainsi que l’attention portée aux retours des utilisateurs. À cela s’ajoute un développeur disponible et extrêmement réactif. Une scène que je recommande sans hésitation.
