Faa'a International Airport (PPT / NTAA) is located 5 km (3.1 mi) west southwest from the town center of Pape'ete, the capital of French Polynesia. Tahiti is located in the northwestern part of French Polynesia, and this is the only international airport in the overseas country.

Because of limited level terrain, rather than leveling large stretches of sloping agricultural land, the airport is built primarily on reclaimed land on the coral reef just off-shore. The airport, operated by Aéroports De Tahiti (formerly Setil Aéroports), has a single 3,420 m (11,220 ft) runway, large and sound enough to accommodate all commercial and military aircraft.

Faa'a International Airport is a relatively small airport. Air Tahiti has flights every day going to all the other islands in French Polynesia while international flights go to different countries such as the United States or New Zealand. The airport is on Tahiti which is an island among the Windward Islands: the eastern part of the Society Islands. Mo'orea can be seen across the Pacific Ocean and Mount Tohive'a is a major mountain on Mo'orea. The airport has a 70 ft (21 m) tall control tower and one runway.

This product is the ugliest scenery I've ever bought on Simmarket. The quality and the 3D models belong to old school style that reminds me FS2002 and fs2000. Building,roof, ground, grass colours are cartoonish. Pixels are dancing like a French Champagne.I have seen a lot of free sceneries way better than this one. I definitely regret my purchase.

Very beautiful Papeete airport best I have every seen, looks 10 times better than the one in de Tahiti box scenery. I been there so I know how it really looks. Ground textures are more than great Buildings looks fantastic and also the lighting system on the taxiway are great, only negative thing is the night lighting on the platform which are far too bright. I have send a mail to the developer about this, and he will try to change this. Really worth every euro !!

Very Very good product especially for the low price, everything looks as it is and is much better detailed than the airport in Aerosoft Tahiti X which has a poor airport. This one is ten times better and looks as the real Papeete Airport. (been there ,so I have photo's enough to compare) Also the ground textures are more than great, I didn't expected this after the very dark photo's on the site, and was very surprised when I saw the airport . This product is really great, the only very negative thing is the night texture on the platform which is far to bright, and in the real thing it is a much smaller lighting system in the night. I hope they can fix this problem which is very sad.
