Bourges Airport (LFLD / BOU) is a french airport serving Bourges in the Cher department. The airport is know for hosting the missile production plant of the company MBDA (2nd world's largest missile producer). The other airport occupants are the light aviation of the Army (ALAT), SAFRAN (french multinational aircraft engine, rocket engine, aerospace component and security company), L'Union Aéronautique du Centre and other small aviation companies. Each year the airport handles about 20 000 aircraft movements including business aviation, military training and recreational flights.
