History

The airport was built on a former World War II airfield in 1947 by the Calcutta Metropolitan Airports Authority. Once regarded as the best in South East Asia, the airport fell into disrepair and was for decades dilapidated and antiquated.

Yangon International Airport is the primary international airport of Myanmar and is located in Mingaladon Township, at 15 km North of downtown Yangon.
The airport's old terminal is used exclusively for domestic flights, and the new terminal, in operation since May 2007, handles international flights.
The runway extension will enable Boeing 747-400 airplanes to use the airport.
The work on extending the runway from 8100 feet to 11,200 feet has done.
Domestic Terminal The domestic terminal is the old original building built in 1947.

Airport is OK but the surrounding ground textures are from FS2000 age.. very poor and disappointing... I don't understand why the developpers didn't limit their product to the airport and fences... at least we could have our generic FTX global or any other textures around the airport. Instead of that there is a no man land around the airport until you retrieve your own generic textures.

The buildings are OK, but there is an altitude issue. I cannot see the pavement when below 600ft or so. Also, there is very low resolution terrain without autogen around the airport 4NM radius. I cannot recommend to buy this addon as it is now.

Thanks for trying to help, but I still can't use this or the other Onet Valley title, Wattay International, without disabling crash detection. I am very familiar with how the scenery library works as I have well over 50 payware scenery titles but unfortunately it does not matter where these titles are placed I still have issues. I wish now I had not purchased them at the same time. With no active support site, and no documentation, my initial review stands. I'll try asking for help on some of the more popular flight sim websites and if I can get it sorted I'll come back post the fix and adjust my rating accordingly.

As to the post before. If you use fs global but fs global higher in the settings. That should work. If not but the add on higher in the settings like number 1 or 2 depending if you have aes as that needs to be at number one. I have not had the texture effects you have. I have fs global 2005 with an I7 pc with 6850 video card. Even with the 5870 card I did not have that problem. Just make sure in the settings scenery libary fs global is higher than the add on. Hopes that helps

Difficult to enjoy as I am suffering from a mesh/ elevation issues. My aircraft instantly crashes on loading and when trying to fly into this airport from afar I get a collision and crash almost 150 feet above the threshold. I use FS Global 2010, but there is no manual, no charts, no support forum, to get assistance from. I also have a lot of texture shimmering, so let the buyer beware.
