Kigali International Airport ( IATA : KGL ICAO : HRYR), formerly Gregoire Kayibanda International Airport, from Rwanda’s first president name, is the main Airport of Rwanda.
It serves Kigali, main city of Rwanda and is located in Kanombe district, about 14km from Kigali downtown.
The traffic has increased a lot during the last decade, from 135 000 passengers in 2004 to 600 000 in 2013.
Several foreign Airliners fly from and to Kigali, including KLM, SN Brussel Airlines, Turkish Airlines, South African, Qatar Airways, Kenya Airways and Ethiopian.
A small local carrier, Akagera Aviation, provides hoovercraft flights to Rwandese national Parks.
The airport is also a base for the Rwandan Air Forces (RAF).
Approach is quite difficult because of the numerous Hills around Kigali(Rwanda is named the thousand Hills Land).

Great, much needed scenery for Rwanda. Little bit performance heavy. Unfortunately it does not work in P3Dv4, an update would be amazing!

Wonderful scenery, textures are great, I have a good FPS in that scenery, No OOM, or another crashes. What about creating GQNO (Nouakchott) airport next, It is one of the most modern airport in western Affrica.

Eine sicherlich gut gemachte Scenery von Orientalsim,wenn da nicht ein paar Bugs wären,die durch ein Update behoben werden müssen: Am gerade so interessanten Terminal schweben Mauern/Zäune In der Luft und Strukturen am Boden flackern;das auf den Screenshouts sichtbare Airport Schild fehlt!Lobenswert das relativ großflächige Luftbild von Kigali und dem Airport. Die mitgelieferte Mesh Datei führt meiner Meinung nach zu unschönen Stufen/Terassenbildungen im Gelände. Besser abschalten . Bei Anpassung durch das AFM Tool und Verwendung von FS Global Ultimate sieht es bei mir in der Darstellung optimal aus. Deshalb zunächst nur 3 Sterne!

This is a great scenery. No hit to FPS on my machine - even with the Aerosoft Airbus. A great, good quality addition to my collection.

Terrible on frame rates. My machine is no slouch,but was reduced to a slide show just trying to taxi around the airport. A waste of money for now.......

The scenery is TOO heavy by it´s size. I go from almost 60fps (Limited thru driver) to 13-15fps just taxing thru the airport. (Using CS737 in a i7 machine - 4.5ghz - with 32gb and 2xGTX980 in SLI - P3Dv3.2) And the textures are average to say the least. This is NOT a good rendition of this airport.
