Description
Jacksonville international (JAX) is a civil and military airport, located 13 miles (21 km) north of Downtown Jacksonville, in Duval County, Florida. It serves both national and international destinations, being Atlanta it´s main national destination.
The civil facilities include a 2 concourse commercial aviation terminal plus with +30 gates, including remote spots, and general aviation parking spots and hangars. Also includes a cargo terminal, mainly operated by UPS Airlines.
KJAX is also home to the 125th fighter wing of the Florida Air National Guard, wich includes F-15 C/D fighter aircraft.
