Description

Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport is a French international airport located in the municipality of Mérignac 12 km west of Bordeaux in the Gironde department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
The airport serves as a base for the airlines Air France, EasyJet, Ryanair and Volotea.
A large number of companies serve Bordeaux which is a targeted city and advertises a range of destinations like Zurich, Geneva, Amsterdam, Budapest, London Glasgow, Manchester and many others in addition to the French network.
It welcomed 7.7 million passengers in 2019, up 13%, making it the 8th French airport and the 6th outside the Paris region.
It shares its runways with the Air Force 106 Bordeaux-Mérignac air base.
The airport has large construction sites spanning until 2021 in order to improve the automation of its infrastructure and to enlarge and modernize the terminals as well as the parking and reception facilities for visitors.

LFMT is better, LFBD has some fsx in it. Waiting for an update. The PES-generator works good. (P3dv4.5 user)

Unusable due to performance. I have about 200 airports for P3D5, and this is the worst content-to-performance ratio. For two and a half buildings I get 15 FPS, while I get 25 at KJFK or EDDF or KMIA or KBOS or whatever...

I really want to like it since overall it's visually fine and definitely a big improvement over default scenery. There are some things to nitpick with the textures, strange 3D grass, LOD issues, but I can live with that. However, I get much better performance at places like KLAX and EGLL than I do here. This scenery eats VRAM like crazy and frames are low. I use very modest settings in V5 and LFBD is simply not a pleasant experience in 2D and completely unusable in VR.

Enfin une scène digne de ce nom pour LFBD!! Quel plaisir pour les yeux !!

Avis très mitigé. Scène sur le papier qui est très très belle et très fidèle à la réalité. J'habite Bordeaux. Je suis souvent en bord de piste à l'aéroport et je la trouve vraiment bien réalisé ! En revanche beaucoup trop de bugs encore présents ! Les performances sont plus que douteuses. 8-15 fps avec l'A320 de FSLabs contre 25-30 quand je vais à Heathrow et Amsterdam qui sont pourtant des Hubs bien plus gros et volumineux en ressources. Plusieurs autres problèmes importants qui permettrait en plus de l'optimisation d’augmenter grandement la qualité de cette scène: - Les traffics IA sont incapables de se déplacer correctement sur l'aéroport. Un avion peut partir de sa gate, rouler jusqu'a la 23 sans soucis. Mais une fois arrivée au point d'arrêt l'avion ne bouge plus pendant 2-3 minutes puis disparait d'un coup. Plusieurs fois j'ai aussi eu le cas d'un avion qui pose en 29, sort en Golf, commence à rouler en Sierra 4 puis s'arrête, ne bouge plus pendant 2-3 minutes et disparait. Et ce problème ce produit presque H24 peut importe la piste. - GX2 : Sur les parkings Bravo 3 et 4 minimum. GSX ne nous propose pas les bonnes compagnies mais plutôt des compagnies qui ne sont pas présentes à Bordeaux et qui ne correspondent pas à l'avion choisi. (Ex: Lufthansa pour un A320 Air France) - Des Embraers HoP apparaissent souvent sur les parkings de l'aviation générale et de Sabena sans raison valable. Deux A320 ont tendances à apparaitre à la suite sur le même parking en Yankee vers la tour de contrôle. - Vous avez modélisé Dassault mais il est impossible de spawn directement sur place soit en Falcon à la sortie du hanger soit sur le parking dédié aux rafales pour leurs vols d'essais et de formations. C'est moins grave mais quand même important quand on souhaite faire des vols réaliste sans perdre de temps à translater à chaque fois. - Niveau lumières selon le placement de la caméra et de l'avion. L'intérieur des cockpits peut s'avérer très très sombres. Les lumières extérieurs sur les lampadaires peuvent clignoter sans comprendre pourquoi. J'espère que les développeurs prendront en comptes ces remarques pour une prochaine mise à jour. J'aimerais vraiment pouvoir prendre plus de plaisir à voler sur cette scène et ne pas avoir à reprendre une ancienne moins belle et moins réaliste juste pour éviter les bugs. Anhand der Produktbilder war ich schon unsicher ob ich den Flughafen kaufen soll. Im Sale habe ich nun zugeschlagen und zu dem Sale Preis ein Deal nach dem Motto so lala. Qualitativ wirkt die Scenery, vor allem die Gebäude wie eine hochwertige Freeware, die Texturierung der Runways und Rollwege sehen nicht richtig realistisch aus, eher wie gemalt. Auch die Terminalfenster überzeugen micht nicht wirklich. Anfangs war die Perfomance unterirdisch, dank dem sehr umfangreichem Konfigurationstool ist es etwas flüssiger, aber obwohl ich auf den niedrigsten Einstellungen bin, ist die Performance schlechter als an Hubs wie Frankfurt.

There are some pleasant details compared to default but also some cartoonish elements that detract from the overall airport. It's not very well optimized for P3D v5. Flicker, flicker, flicker. You get the feeling this developer has a lot to learn still. Also, they misunderstand the LM install recommendations and force it to your C:\ drive. Very inconsiderate. But hey, it's better than default visually it just feels so unstable. Hopefully these guys will get better.
