FS Global Ultimate 2024

is the newest development in Digital Elevation Mesh (DEM) for Prepar3D. It is the largest development step since its introduction in 2005.

This new version comes with many technical improvements and new data, focusing on a spectacular rendition of the European Alps, Antarctica, Iceland, Greenland, New Zealand and several popular islands. Changes over the 2020 edition in detail:

1) Switzerland completely in 2 m resolution (LOD 14), based on 0.5 m resolution source data
2) Austria up to 2 m resolution, based on 0.5 m - 5 m source data
3) Southern Bavaria in 2 m resolution, based on 1 m source data
4) Italy: Provinces of Valle d'Aosta, Trentino - Alto Adige, Veneto in up to 2 m resolution, based on 1 - 5 m source data
5) Balearic Islands in 2 m resolution, based on 1 m source data
6) Canary Islands in 2 m resolution, based on 1 m source data
7) La Réunion in 2 m resolution, based on 1 m source data
8) Iceland completely in 4.75 m resolution (LOD 13), based on 1 m source data
9) Antarctica 9.5 m resolution in coastal areas (LOD 12), complete continent covered based on newest 8 - 10 m resolution data
10) Greenland in 19 m resolution, based on up to 2 m resoltion data
11) New Zealand: 9.5 m resolution (LOD 12), based on newest 8 m data
12) Madeira Island: improved DEM, increased to 19 m resolution (LOD 11), based on 10 m data
13) Azores: improved DEM, increased to 19 m resolution (LOD 11), based on 10 m source data
14) Numerous small improvements and fixes all over the world, e.g. Canada, U.S., South America, South Africa, Indonesia, Japan
15) New render algorithm for optimal fit of summits and ridges to orthoimagery
16) Compiled with the latest Prepar3D v6 SDK
17) Tested for downward compatibility with Prepar3D v4 and v5
18) Installers for Prepa3D v4, v5 and v6

Simply Stunning! Another high quality product from Pilots FSG. It's by far the best quality mesh you can get for P3D and it really brings your Orbx scenery and photoscenery to life in amazing detail. Don't waste your money buying dozens of other mesh products that only cover very small areas of the world. Global Ultimate 2024 may be a little expensive but it covers the entire world, every single inch of it, in the highest possible detail. You end up saving money on mesh just buying this one single global package instead. If you are looking for ways to make your sim scenery look more detailed and realistic, this is a must have product to get. I strongly recommend Global Ultimate 2024 and I guarantee that you will be amazed by this product.

Eine super Bereicherung. Ein must have für den P3D aus meiner Sicht.

Ich habe dieses Addon im P3Dv5.4 zusammen mit AustriaHD laufen. Schon beim VFR Erstflug von Innsbruck nach Salzburg war ich total überwältigt. Auch in anderen Gebieten außerhalb der Alpen ist das Mesh sehr gut abgebildet. Danke für dieses tolle Addon
