Houari Boumediene Airport (French: Aéroport d'Alger Houari Boumediene) (IATA: ALG, ICAO: DAAG), also known as Algiers Airport or Algiers International Airport, is an international airport serving Algiers, the capital of Algeria. It is located 9.1 NM (16.9 km; 10.5 mi) east southeast of the city.

The airport is named after Houari Boumediene, a former president of Algeria. Dar El Beïda, the area at which the airport is located, was known as Maison Blanche (White House), and the airport is called Maison Blanche Airport in much of the literature about the Algerian War of Independence.

Very pleasant rendition of DAAG as it was in 2016 before the terminal 1 extension was completed (still under works in the present rendition). Excellent, timely support from Nassim who within 2-3 hours provided me with the v1.1 upgrade that removes the works barriers blocking the access to/from runway 09/27. Only 4 stars to sanction the static only jetways... and a perfectible afcad file. I do recommend purchasing Casablanca GMMN airport and this DAAG rendition from the same developper to those who are ready for a cool 1:20 flight from/to those two airports in the Arab Maghreb Union area.

Very happy with this scenery package definitely is fantastic scenery so a massive well done to the scenery team on this fantastic scenery package love everything about it lots of detailed scenery and even more around the airport area 5 stars from me this is definitely a must have scenery package;):)

Flyable, with some animated or sode jetways would make it alot better, but not too bad

Very disappointing ! Poor detail and doesn't really offer more than the default scenery. Nothing looks realistic, objects lack detail. I wouldn't recommend.

I have never visited Algeria or Algiers. But the Algiers city terrain that comes with this airport is very mediocre in detail (and is actually poor when compared to Aerosoft’s FS9 Casablanca from all those years ago and indeed Taxi2Gate’s Istanbul). Although framerates are good, the airport modelling is just not in the same quality and detail league as the Aerosoft’s Evo products, or those of Taxi2Gate or UK2000. And, swathes of DAAG’s apron and terminal areas are modelled as a cordoned off building site area. That may well be the case in real life, but because of it, I’m glad I bought this at a discount!

Waited a long time for this scenery but at the end very disappointed. Expected better scenery with that price tag. It looks like the freeware DAAG scenery produced for FS few years ago.

I would like to congratulate the group for the new release, good job as this is definitely a huge improvement from the previous sceneries, it was a long-awaited scenery for the airport since the very old freeware that was around since the early days of FSX, unfortunately the ground texturing and night lighting are very poor to my taste and does not meet now days texturing quality level, the photoreal was not enhanced and if so it is unnoticeable, I hope this will be improved in future updates.
