Ed Fisher first designed the Zippy Sport, which was officially introduced in 1983 as a participant in the Dupont/Western Flyer design contest, and was marketed through Fishercraft.
The Zippy Sport for MSFS has been with more polygons and detail than the freeware offering for FSX built by myself to match the level of detail in the new simulator. The position of the pilot adds great visibility and makes the Zippy Sport the perfect aircraft to enjoy the world of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The Zippy Sport is aerobatic with low takeoff and landing speeds, it's also capable of doing 115 KTS at full throttle.
This Add-on is based on the VW engine variant.

Brilliant little airplane for the price. The sounds are *not* based on the VW engine. The engine sounds like something on a Kitfox. I would move this review to five stars if the engine sounds were improved to something resembling the actual VW engine. It handles great, It is fun to takeoff and land. It is a neat cockpit view. Great module, great value :)
This is an update to my earlier (1 star) review. The developer has now responded to my issue, giving great helpful support and a new file to try. All issues are now fixed and it's a great little product.
This plane is completely unflyable, as it is not compatible with the new (increased torque) prop physics in MSFS SU9. Regardless of the payload, fuel and CofG settings, the plane will tumble forward onto it's prop (and cannot be recovered) as soon as any throttle is applied. The developer needs to completely reconfigure the CofG config, to account for the new prop physics. I have reached out to the developer, and if the plane is fixed and becomes actually usable, I will update this review.
