In 1937, Le Bourget airport was the flagship of French aeronautical technology and architecture.nnIts radio system and aeronautical lighthouses surpassed those of other European capitals.

It is in this environment that the legend of Le Bourget is forged, hosting numerous aerial events where records and acrobatics follow one another.

The great raids, such as that of Charles Lindberg in May 1927, placed Le Bourget at the center of the aeronautical world for several days.

Costes and Bellonte, Maryse Bastié and Hélène Boucher, all linked the name of Le Bourget to the world of aeronautics.
