IMMERSIVE AUDIO - MJC8 Q400 COCKPIT SOUND IMMERSION FSX P3D

IMMERSIVE AUDIO - MJC8 Q400 COCKPIT SOUND IMMERSION FSX P3D

Well well once I started the Q400 the first impressions were good. The further I went down the road of the flight my impressions got worse and worse though. There is a very strong oscillating sound (like a pulse) noticeable at certain throttle positions which are highly annoying to say the least. I understand this can happen when you record audio from a real plane but this should have been corrected before releasing it for an FS addon. Potential is there though so maybe the dev removes the oscillation. That would make it awesome since the sounds themselves are very good.

JUSTSIM - LINZ AUSTRIA BLUE DANUBE AIRPORT LOWL FSX P3D

JUSTSIM - LINZ AUSTRIA BLUE DANUBE AIRPORT LOWL FSX P3D

Klare Kaufempfehlung! ======================================================================================= Linz may not be the most spectacular airport. Its proximity to the Alps (and Salzburg for that matter) still makes it a perfect airport for regional or VFR operations. As JustSim managed to create an astounding recreation of the real airport, I took the well known freeware rendition of Linz to its well deserved retirement. Since the release of the first update, which got released only a few days after the inital version, the airport works without any flaws in P3D 3.1. The airport is completely compatible to Austria Professional HD East (ATPHD). Color differences between the satellite image of ATPHD and Linz are barely visible. The use of static objects, such as an Austrian Airlines Dash 8, is pleasing and brings the scenery to life (only downside is, that the developer used the old Austrian Airlines livery for the static aircraft and not the most recent of 2015). Also there are no static objects on the military part of the airport (which is not a real downside to me, as I never taxi around that area). Performancewise Linz is a winner. As the nearby city of Linz and the airport are rather small, you can expect good FPS in all circumstances. I got 25 FPS on the ground and at least 30 FPS in the air when flying the Majestic Dash. For all fans of the Alps, Linz is definitely a recommendation!

DIGITAL DESIGN - LOWS SALZBURG W.A. MOZART FSX P3D

Digital Desings Salzburg is definitely one of the best sceneries available for P3D today and also one that uses modern and future proof design techniques such as SODE. From a design perspective I gotta say I haven't seen such a convincing recreation of reality yet. Not only the airport but also the nearby city of Salzburg and its suburbs as well as the surrounding mountains really give you the impression of being there and not just sitting in front of a computer screen. Highest recommendations from my side! If you are a VFR pilot check out the nearby lakes to the east, which are definitely worth a visit. A photoreal scenery is a must have for this though.
