Giving this a 5 star after just drone flight inspecting inside out! This is one beautifully crafted airport! I love it because it truly the gate way airport to all airports in Europe! Cant wait for FSDREAMTEAM to bring GSX level3 to MSFS to complete the airport experience!
Being that this is my home airport it represents the airport exactly the way it looks in real life. I just wish they would have added more scenic objects to the area like the Sky car, in the area where the cruise ships are. the water front sea plane ports and the downtown shopping mall strip areas. but I enjoy landing here now even more before I do my island hopping! Now I gotta get back to reading the "READ ME" files on how to fix the landclass. because the mountains and some of the scenery outside the airport is not leveled.
The airport itself looks very beautiful in this scenery, but what really turned me off and actually made me and uninstall it was the awful grass textures that surround the airport runways! Its not up to the hd Standards we get from FlightBeam, Fly Tampa, FSDT, or even Aerosoft Mega Airports and UK2000. I gave it 3 stars because it captures the area around the airport very accurately. I seriously wish the designer would consider an upgrade of the scenery to correct the awful grass textures used around the airport. It really kills the beauty of the scenery!
Likewise as the other I am not pleased they charged for a minor tweak up grade. On top that the installer installs an out of date SODE 1.3.4 that causes the simulation to remove all the Gates. I was directed to download the cureent version of SODE which 1.5.3. I have always enjoyed this scenery and I too recently bought this and for them to charge for a minor tweak that fixes landclass issues is wrong. Fly Tampa and FSDreamteam and Flightbeam as well as UK2000 dont charge for P3Dv4 upgrade of their sceneries. Why must Taxi2Gate and Aerosoft feel they need to make a profit?
I have been away from P3d for a minute, sure like me you guys caught a little GTAV-LSPDFR fever! But looking to come back into Flight Simulation when I saw that TAXI2GATE did an upgrade of Charles De Gaulle Intl. I was stoked! I have literally waited for over 7 years for someone to do this! The Detail in this scenery is awesome. I dont even care about the little errors with the automatic jetways! I am so pleased with this product I came back at the right time. I am sure stuff like that will get corrected in an update sooner or later! Guys complaining about the little things are not genuine fans of Flight simming to understand how important and awesome an upgrade this scenery is! Heathrow has been redone to death so many times and no one bothered to even look at Charles De Gaulle until now. Thank you Taxi2Gate for picking up that fumbled ball. This is awesome, I said that already! THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!
Not a resident of Hong Kong, But I appreciate a well put together product! Taxi2Gate has recently became one of my favorite vendors to purchase sceneries from! Like this download a lot of their recent products are very well detailed at Fly Tampa and FSDreamteam levels. Whenever I have enough money to endulge myself a little I always jump on their products! You really never go wrong with Taxi2Gate except for their earlier releases which look too FS2002 to me! But their recent products are really nicely done! I love products that are in close proximity to other fine products! This will compliment Fly Tampa Kai Tak intl and Tai Creations Macau Intl and Pacific Sim Manilla makes for a nice play ground!
before i purchase another scenery from Aerosoft I need to read reviews concerning OOM's messages, Since Thessalonki I got OOM messages and it took a patch which got rid of autogen buildings out of the area! This inturn made the scenery less demanding on the system! I need to read further reviews here and on YouTube, and from the Aerosoft Forums before I make this purchase! FSX is a 32bit simulator which can only handle a limit 4gb of memory and Aerosoft for no explicable reason keeps pumping out HI-RES Airports that the sim cannot support and exceed this limit! My suggestion is do like me and read up on this scenery before spending your hard earned moolaa on it! I will rate it much higher if I see no OOMs!
