ON-NEXT DEVELOPMENT GMBH - SIMSOUNDS 3.3 - FSX P3D

ON-NEXT DEVELOPMENT GMBH - SIMSOUNDS 3.3 - FSX P3D

Brilliant program which I’ve had since it first came out. Thomas listens to all feedback and keeps tweaking and improving an already great program. Currently using it with a full scale 737 and Simsounds works brilliantly due to allowing utilisation of multiple sound cards. First sound card connected to a Buttkicker and both pilot seats vibrate perfectly, increasing in intensity as the 737 accelerates on takeoff, or when landing with the reverses. The vibration with turbulence utilising Active sky is just another fantastic feature. The new Version 3.1 with engine start vibration That Vader’s in and then out as the engines stabilise just finishes it off perfectly. Aircraft sounds (flaps, gear, etc) also go through the Buttkicker to the first set of speakers. Second sound card is for cabin announcements and goes to speakers behind cockpit so all announcements are heard behind as they should. Its even super easy to add your own unique announcements which perfectly syncs with Prosim737 for different stages of the flight, although the announcements that come with the base package are great. A third sound card is used for wind and rain and these speakers are on the side of the 737 shell. The program simply allows for so much customisation that the program is absolutely essential for anyone with a full scale cockpit. Honestly for immersion, this is absolutely brilliant. The only downside is having to fly without it on occasions when internet is down as it requires an active internet to run. Hopefully this can be resolved. In the future. Well done Thomas, you just keep making it better and better

JUSTSIM - LUXEMBOURG FINDEL AIRPORT ELLX FSX P3D

JUSTSIM - LUXEMBOURG FINDEL AIRPORT ELLX FSX P3D

I really good airport for P3Dv4. Whilst a little blocky in some areas (vehicles), and a little too sterile looking, this is all that keeps it from a 5/5. A bit of weathering on the equipment, tarmac and runways would have finished it off perfectly. Flying a Heavy, the surrounding areas are just enough for immersion. Framerates were great even with UTLive. Well worth buying as it's great to fly in and out of. Computer i7 8700 o/c 5ghz, 1080ti, P3Dv4

DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - SEATTLE AIRPORTS X FOR FSX P3D

DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - SEATTLE AIRPORTS X FOR FSX P3D

A great airport that you just have to keep coming back too. Drzewiecki has developed the ability to put a lot of airport into each of their products and still maintain overall good framerates, and KSEA is no different. Whilst there is some shimmering in the terminal areas when turning your aircraft with everything turned up, it's understandable with the amount going on. The scenery is well detailed and well-weathered to throw off the sterile look. And when combined with a package like Ultimate Traffic Live, it's a really busy airport. Definitely deserves to be in the 5/5 airports. But you need to use it in combination with the Seattle city add-on, and Orbx's Pacific Northwest to get the breathtaking immersion. AEROSOFT - MEGA AIRPORT FRANKFURT V2 PROFESSIONAL P3D4-5

AEROSOFT - MEGA AIRPORT FRANKFURT V2 PROFESSIONAL P3D4-5

Some of Aerosoft's products can be a little blocky and outdated for today's quality against companies such as Orbx, Flightbeam, FlyTampa. And there's a small amount of this on the peripheries such as vehicles on the surrounding highways and some outer objects, And it's a little clean looking compared to a real airport that other designers will spend time on to give users a more immersive atmosphere. But ... the shear size of this airport, the amount of overall detail, this is just mind-blowing and a credit to the designers. And the shortcomings are soon lost in this massive and highly detailed airport. Even taxying up the slope for the highway overpass, your 737 will require extra power to get over it. Landing on an out runway such as 26R, expect 20+ minutes of great taxying past close to 100 other aircraft before you get to your gate, which in itself is well detailed giving you the feeling of really being there. And the FPS was great throughout the experience. Definitely deserves to be in the 5/5 airports. Computer: i7 8700K o/c 5ghz, 1080ti

AEROSOFT - GENOA X FSX P3D

AEROSOFT - GENOA X FSX P3D

While its better than base scenery, I found much of the extra scenery (boats, vehicles, etc) to be a little blocky, and the scenery overall far too clean. No skid marks on the runway for example which is pretty standard now. It's simply missing alot of the more recent things we have seen and now expect in scenery. So unless you really need it, I'd spend you money on another airport.
