FSIMSTUDIOS - VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT CYVR MSFS

FSIMSTUDIOS - VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT CYVR MSFS

Impressive rendition, accurate textures, and an overall good job. I owned the P3D version and I loved it. HOWEVER, the FPS performance is... subpar. I understand the Vancouver area is highly modeled and I'm okay losing some performance for that, but it is getting to a point I can't fly the aircraft. It's also very random. I once got decent performance (20-30 FPS) on an approach on a rainy and overcast day and I got null FPS on an approach on a CAVOK day... On an LAX-YVR run, I get better performance in LAX using a third-party scenery, AI traffic, etc...than Vancouver, and that's not acceptable.

FLYSIMWARE LLC - C414AW CHANCELLOR MSFS

FLYSIMWARE LLC - C414AW CHANCELLOR MSFS

Bought it through their website, and used their products since FS2004. I would like to say that I’m very pleased. It feels very nice hand flying it, the turbochargers actually work, the sounds are deafening and immersive. Texture wise Flysimware stepped up and offered a pretty beautiful airframe and cabin. Adding the GTN750 third party addons makes this machine perfect for any mission. The systems are accurate, from fuel control to the pressurization system! I highly recommend it, and I’m glad to see Flysimware in MSFS!

FSXCENERY - GMTT TANGIER IBN BATTUTA AIRPORT FSX P3D

FSXCENERY - GMTT TANGIER IBN BATTUTA AIRPORT FSX P3D

Glad to see a GMTT scenery for FSX/P3D! Fairly accurate, no ground polygons so expect default runway and taxiway textures. Buildings are an improvement from the default ones but nothing mindblowing, with a few details and signs, misplaced. The tower feels a bit taller than the real thing but no biggie. What bothers me the most is the use of library objects, making it look too "freeware". For example, for the fencing around the field, the author used standard road cement blocks, which looks really ugly and unrealistic. Up to this point I would have given 4 stars, however, the product/value ratio is a bit off. For fifteen euros I would have expected a little more...
