I am using this product starting Global 2018 and the latest one overcome all my expectation. Tested in P3DV5 and P3DV6. Specially DEM-14 in some mountain regions of Europe are amazing. It is high valuable product which gives a new breath to P3DV.
I have used the opportunity to see the improvements of a new 10 DEM product and did testing. It overall improves how the terrain looks in MSFS but unfortunately is not a finished product or raw product. Why? 1. If you fly from airports as PHHN, PHJJ, PHMK, PHNNY, PHPA where commercial products exist you will see the bumps on the runway, so all relevant airports should be excluded to conflict with DEM. There is a way in the tool how to exclude and for the next update hope this will be solved. 2. There are slaps of the sea on the shore and again this is something that can be checked and properly solved.
This is the third Aerosoft scenery P3DV4.5+ scenery from a talented developer Pavel Moroz and I must say is one of the best provided with the complexity and details. I also own LZKZ Kosice and LZTT Poprad Tatry which are very good quality too. Stefanik LZIB airport is modeled with all the details and corresponding to reality. A big surprise was for me how is the city of Bratislava modeled with many of detailed buildings and it reflects the big development boom, so this very big plus. Some big texture will need optimization in some complex buildings but I am sure the author will do that in the next update. I am pretty sure that we will see this complex scenery in MSFS2020 too and expecting new airports in the surrounding area.
The Poprad Tatry LZTT airport is done accurately, with a lot of attention to details. Great is rotating approaching radar. Also surrounding the airport is nicely modeled so immersion is great. My first flight from this airport was in 1966 so I know this airport very well and using this airport many times. The airport is located under the range of the beautiful High Tatras which is the smallest high alpine mountain in Europe. Soon will be available LOD 15 model of both Tatras mountains from LIDAR data so you can enjoy them when you are approaching the airport. The small minus is that talented author could make a sloped runway in P3DV5 , but hope he will do that in the next release. The author is now working on Bratislava airport LZBZ for P3DV4.5+, so the all main airports of Slovakia will be covered in the latest releases of P3DV4.5 +
Split Airport is done very nice , surrounding is OK, but not the quality of ORBX Dubrovnik , Rijeka ,or Tivat from Digital Design. Fantastic is mesh of Dalmatia which is LOD 15 and makes immersion of landscape very realistic. Hoppe Davor Puljevic will provide in next product ,maybe Zadar airport mesh of all croatian costline including Istria.
