REALWORLDSCENERY - KSTL ST.LOUIS LAMBERT INTERNATIONAL MSFS

REALWORLDSCENERY - KSTL ST.LOUIS LAMBERT INTERNATIONAL MSFS

Not a five start airport. Modelling is excellent, texturing, not so much. The airport looks toy-like and the night textures are unconvincing. No interior terminal modelling. Does not compare favorably with similar products at this price point from FsDreamTeam, FlightBeam, or Latin VFR. For a major airport, this is subpar.

DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - CHICAGO LANDMARKS MSFS

DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - CHICAGO LANDMARKS MSFS

I'm not from Chicago, so if there is anything major missing I wouldn't know. That said, I find the depiction to be very immersive. The observation deck interior on the Willis Tower is even modelled. Wrigley Field, Comiskey Park (sorry, I know it is the new stadium with a new corporate name, but it will always be Comiskey to me), and Solider Field are all modelled. The "El" (elevated train) is modelled, complete with animated trains. Lakeside looks great with the breakwater, parks and marinas. Lakeshore Drive and surrounds are also well done.. I agree with the other reviewers that the buildings don't look good in the snow (they are all white), but that is only at lower LOD. Once you get close, the LOD resolves and they look good in the snow. Night lighting is also probably a bit too exuberant to be realistic, but I enjoy it anyway. At least the city is visible.

DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - SEATTLE LANDMARKS MSFS

DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - SEATTLE LANDMARKS MSFS

Drzewiecki Design consistently delivers top-notch scenery and this is no exception. As a former Seattlite, I can attest to its accuracy. SODO--with the stadiums and derricks, the waterfront--with the aquarium, ferris wheel and the new tunnel going underneath, downtown--featuring the Smith Tower, Columbia Center, and the Space Needle (with moving elevators and interior modelling, Husky stadium, etc. are all well represented. The seaplane bases on Lake Union and at Kenmore are well done. It is also nice to see downtown Bellevue well represented. Probably the only disappointment is that the Ballard locks didn't get any attention. The cities are nicely lit up at night, but arguably the lighting isn't accurate. It is perhaps a bit too colorful, but I personally like it.

AIRWORTHY DESIGNS - SAINT MARTIN & GRAND CASE MSFS

This is a wonderful airport representation. Excellent attention to detail with beautiful interior and exterior modelling. The party going on at Maho beach makes for extremely immersive low approaches. I'm not going to go into detail; there are some excellent reviews on YouTube and this airport (as well as the included Grand Case) are already well known to be fantastic.

DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - KDCA WASHINGTON NATIONAL MSFS

DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - KDCA WASHINGTON NATIONAL MSFS

Drzwiecki Design is at the very top when it comes to scenery developers and KDCA easily lives up to the high standards they have set with all of their previous MSFS products. The modelling is truly exquisite. The passenger terminal is almost completely modelled; you can literally enter thee main terminal and move through the airport to almost any concourse (all of which appear to have interior modelling). There are people everywhere giving the interior a very lifelike feel--and since you can see in from any of the gates, the immersion is fantastic. There is an incredible amount of glass throughout the terminal and it looks great inside and out. The ramp is busy and there is good use of static aircraft (including some United CRJs, as well as aircraft in various hangars). The connected light rail station is modelled and animated trains arrive and depart. High quality textures are used throughout and the airport looks great at night. If I had one complaint it would be that the tarmac and and the ground markings seem to be a bit too clean. There are some oil stains, etc., but IMO the ground markings look a bit to new. All in all, this airport is tops. Super high quality and extremely immersive.

VREF SIMULATIONS - KGPI - GLACIER PARK INTL AIRPORT MSFS

VREF SIMULATIONS - KGPI - GLACIER PARK INTL AIRPORT MSFS

This is a reasonably well done airport, but there is nothing about it that would warrant five stars. The textures are not high resolution, there is no interior modelling, nor is the airport a completely accurate rendition (at a minimum, the parking spot numbering at the terminal doesn't match the Jeppesen chart). There are a couple of nice animations of people street side, though the lower resolution texturing doesn't hold up very well at the terminal entrance. Airport side, the tinted terminal window panes reflect nicely, so even though you can't see in, the effect is reasonable. The ramp area is well done, with lots of detritus making the airport feel alive. Parking lots are sufficiently full, but at times the cars themselves are placed a bit haphazardly. The Country Inn is nicely modelled. There are also some jets on the Glacier Jet Center ramp (including a private 757) and there a few light planes parked in front of hangars. Overall, this is a mid-tier airport from a quality perspective. Compared to the level of quality airports that Fsdreamteam is producing at this price point, it is hard to argue that this airport is worth the money. On the other hand, this airport certainly comes out on top when compared to the stuff FSXScenery is producing. All of that said, Kalispell may not be high on very many people's lists of "need to have" airports, so the pricing probably assumes a lower volume of sales. In any case, while this airport is not great, it is good and Kalispell is a beautiful area to fly into. For me it was worth paying a small premium to be able to replace the default airport with something that makes me want to keep flying to that part of Montana.

FINAL APPROACH SIMULATIONS - KEWR NEWARK LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL MSFS

FINAL APPROACH SIMULATIONS - KEWR NEWARK LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL MSFS

At $20.00, this airport does not compare favorably with similarly priced products from Fly Tampa, Flightbeam, Latin VFR or Aerosoft. It isn't even quite on the level of Fsdreamteam's $10.00 products (i.e. CYVR or KSDF). Textures aren't high resolution, and where textures are used in place of glass, the textures don't look very convincing. I didn't love the way the terminal looks at night, but I did appreciate that there is some interior modelling--though not on the level of what you should get at this pricepoint. No cars on the parking garage roof and the street side terminal entrance is barren and lifeless. Airplane-side, things are much better with sufficient amounts of ramp detritus to give a reasonably immersive feel. The static aircraft are great--especially liked the FedEx MD-11s and the United CRJs--and being able to opt to have them parked at gates is a nice feature. There is also some nice heavy metal over at Signature Flight Support. Overall, this isn't a bad effort, but I think that a pretty clear standard has been established for what a $20.00 airport should look like and this is not it.
